      I never pay the Emmys much attention, but in my opinion Daphnee Duplaix gives the most confident, nuanced performance of all the females I've seen on soaps this year. And she's not mentioned at all.

Scott McKinsey, Sara Peterson McCormick, Holly Metts and Lucy Yalenian each win their 2nd "Days" Emmy. Adriana Alvarado, Jessie Harrison, Noel Maxam, Alexis Straiten and Jennifer Werwage each win their first "Days" Emmy.

    Awwwwww those clips for Genie Francis...including the clip that made me fall in love with Laura...her jumping out of that plane. hehe. And it was a proper retrospective including all the soaps she was on.

    It's been apparent to me for years but the daytime dramas have definitely been overshadowed by the "service shows" in visibility. Years ago, it felt sad but it just is now.

    So this show has great moments and is on a roll with Tamara Tunie and Genie Francis, and then follows with more awards for dog breeds.
