Probably blowing smoke about nothing. I haven’t paid any attention to this fool since he blew the lid on Y&R’s Susan Walters’ secret return and Days’ Marci Miller’s exit, and then tried to blame sabotage and other people for leaking such stories. What a joke.  

Speaking of ancient dead guy Mariah kissed, can either @slick jones or @dc11786 confirm Michael Swan is only the 4th actor to appear on all 4 CBS major soaps (Y&R, B&B, ATWT, and GL)? Only other ones I’m aware of that finally fit this bill were CLB, Zach Conroy, and unfortunately Brian Gaskill?

In Sarapa's June 30 tweet (Link), he says there is a Y&R habit of hiring someone's replacement before firing them, such as bringing in a new supervising producer and then a few months later they are EP.

Sarapa's July 8 tweet (Link) referred to
a DConfidential podcast from July 2012 about JFP replacing MAB.

my reply:

In my observations of Y&R regime changes over the past 12 years, yes that's sometimes true, that, before firing an EP, someone else is first brought in as a supervising producer (or other position) and then a little while later promoted to EP.

However the addition of JFP to the staff *this* time is apparently not about that?
According to @Errol's post on the Ed Scott retirement thread:
"Jill Farren Phelps is back at the show in a non-producing capacity."

Speculative, in my opinion.

JG is WAY past his expiration date. Y&R has had no long-term story direction for YEARS. Yes, there have been fleeting moments of brilliance, that quickly fizzle into nothingness. 

I sincerely hope CBS makes some real behind the scenes changes at Y&R and B&B. I want all three CBS soaps to be must-see TV and sadly only BTG is, IMO.

Even just reading the spoilers for this show is boring.  I can't believe that at one time I was actually looking forward to watch the next episode.  B&B is only slightly more interesting.  I can't believe that  BTG is actually a CBS show!

Wish they hadn’t stopped cutting away from Damian and Lily right after they started kissing everytime 🤦🏽‍♂️ but I do like the development.

Really enjoyed Cricket and Danny but I’m a sucker for 80’s couples and flashbacks. And they really do still have chemistry all these years later.

Boy, hardly a comment on the show in days. Guess Josh's latest plots are not exactly gripping. 

How many weeks have the cast been stuck in the maze?

This character is not Cane at all.. even his personality traits are different. I just don’t get this 😬 not even a Cane fan but I do value consistency and being true to the history of the show and this is just… bad..

And at least we finally get a little romance on this soap.  It's weird, the only characters JG ever writes truly romantic scenes for are Michael/Lauren and Danny/Christine.  And I'm not sure any of those four actors are on contract.  JG seems to have absolutely no interest in writing romance for any of the contract actors.  What's wrong with him?
