Hey Nex! I haven't tried to download them since I got home, but I will go try now and if I can, I will edit them and post them.

Leslie is not doing a fan event at FCW this year. I think that is like the first time ever. Doesn't she always have something?

Some good news today: Betty Boop has left the building. Skye's last day in PC is july 29th. Guess she just leaves after she gets her $ back in Spain. No farewell scene with the Qs!

I like Robin Christopher but I can't stand Skye. Her return was completely pointless.

YAY!!! That was the most ridiculous "return" ever, and I hope will stop anyone else from bragging that all they have to do is pick up the phone and call their buddie and suddenly they can come back. Now while it's hilarious that EWCBO whines to every mic/reporter who'll listen about how they don't want her and RC just has to pick up a phone to ask, it really does underscore the fact that if the story isn't there the actor shouldn't be either.

Hey Funny! Hope you are enjoying your summer vacation.

This is pretty cool! From the author of an Elvis book:

and...here is an article about helena/tracy from a detroit paper--too bad the story seemed to have been cut short.

Here was what was in SID this week mentioning Tracy...

Please note: I didn't add the comment/quote in Red at the end of the article...the person who scanned it for me and I dont know how to get that quote out of it. So if any lurkers are out there--who want to go to other boards and bitch about us, it was not my doing.

Oh, who cares what the LnLers think? Not I, said the redhead. Okay, so I'm a natural brunette. But still......not I. They and their "debates" got old for me a long time ago. Personally, I have nothing against GF. I think she's highly overrated as an actress, and I could only stand Laura for the first five minutes, but I bear the woman no ill will as long as I don't have to sit through her scenes. I'm a okay in fact, with her coming back to GH, if it means I don't have to endure Tracy/Laura stuff. I don't feel "threatened" by her. Laura is no match for Tracy, and GF doesn't even know the zip code of JE's league as far as talent goes.

As far as the poll, eh. I didn't vote on it, and I just don't put any stock in the polls. I mean, if it were 99% in favor of Lacy, that would be cool and all, but it would still be "eh" for me. I honestly just don't trust mag or online polls anymore. I don't think I ever did.

Oh the poll stuff is silly. If anyone paid attention to polls than liz/jason would be back together.

There was more to the article about TG saying how he didn't like them constantly saying luke was a bad parent, etc. That was the only part my friend scanned for me. It was an interview with TG, NP and JJ.

Meh.... regardless of the debate of who's the best pairing for Luke, not a single one of them can suggest GF is a better actress than JE, and that's ultimately what TG said. (After all he's worked with and bedded Liz Taylor. He has a starting point for his comparison that's pretty impressive.)

The poll in intriguing - and it's suggested to be based on Tracy's ability to forgive. She might not be the "forgiving type" but this is Luke we're talking about - he's a whole different ball game. It won't be easy but we all know it will happen. I just hope their story has teeth and isn't just played for laughs come fall.

Speaking of our fair one, has anyone else noticed the pattern of those having a summer break? RC is gone and BH is on mat leave, but JE, NLG, KeMo and LA are just some of the names saying they've got less to do in August. It's almost as if it's being set up to be Brenda and the Men. Intriguing that....

EDIT

Someone has now posted the whole thing:

    • @Soapsuds Thanks for posting Night by night Mon 8pm The Rookies edged Gunsmoke but attracted younger(more desirable) viewers.NBC failed with Born Free/Smothers Brothers (how many different series did those 2 get??) 9-11pm  Maude/Rhoda/Medical Center dominated on CBS,but Football and Movies were competitive on an occasional basis. ABC tried  SWAT/Caribe later in the season and the former worked for them. Tues 8-11 pm CBS all the way Good Times, MASH, Hawaii Five O,Barnaby Jones. NBC had the fading Adam 12,Movie and Police Story mmm...don't see that listed? ABC Happy Days, which ABC decided to keep despite lackluster ratings, the Movie of the Week and Marcus Welby-once pulling big numbers but no longer. 8pm NBC had a new hit with Little House, easily beating Sons and Daughters, which was axed and replaced with Tony Orlando, which did much better. ABC had That's My Mama and the Wed movie. 9pm Cannon was the lead here as Lucas Tanner failed to capitalize on the LHOTP leadin. ABC continued the movie. 10pm Manhunter started strong for CBS but petered out and was cancelled. Petrocelli manged to beat Get Christie Love, which was replaced by Baretta-no ratings winner but ABC decided to renew. Thurs Another CBS night with The Waltons and a movie. ABC counterprogrammed with Odd Couple/Paper Moon then Barney Miller/Karen NBC did even worse with Sierra and replaced it with Mac Davis which improved ratings quite a bit. However, it was moved to 9pm for Sunshine/Bob Crane 9pm Some good numbers for ABC with Streets of San Francisco fending off Ironside,Archer and Mac Davis. 10pm Harry O had a slim victory over Movin On Fri 8-11 NBCs best night Sanford/Chico/Rockford/Police Woman. 8pm CBS had high hopes for Planet of the Apes but it bombed. Replacement Khan did even worse. Paul Sand and We'll Get By were tossed in at the end of the season. With poor lead ins the Friday movie didn't deliver. ABC's odd line up saw Kodiak flop, Six Million dollar Man struggle and Texas Wheelers  quickly cancelled. Kung Fu was brought in @8 and Six Million moved to 9. Then Kolchak took over at 8 and Hot*l Baltimore/Odd Couple 9-10. Despite controversy Hot*l flopped. 10pm ABC tried Kolchak then Baretta and finally Get Christie Love Sat CBS lead  with #1 AITF then Paul Sand/MTM/Bob Newhart/Carol Burnett. Paul Sand lost too much of the lead in so CBS spun off The Jeffersons and it was a smash. NBC did OK with Emergency (which beat Paul Sand on occasion, thus hastening that show's demise) and a movie. ABC was a disaster with New Land/Kung Fu and Nakia all failing. They introduced a movie @9 and moved Kung Fu to 8. Sun  NBC  with Disney and Mystery Movie (Columbo McCloud, MacMillan and Wife/Amy Prentiss)did well. ABC flopped with Sonny Bono and recovered by moving Six Million Dollar Man from Fri as a lead in to the movie. CBS hoped Apples Way would be another Waltons but no, so Cher did what Sonny couldn't. Kojak and Mannix successfully finished out the night. Two other shows on the ratings list were Adams of Eagle Lake starring Andy Griffith. Only 2 episodes aired and did well, so I'm not sure what happened there. As for The Law it was a series follow up to a 2 and a half hour NBC special movie .

    • Trust is very easily lost and very hard to re-build.
    • Oh, I know it was. I was just talking about how it's not giving me parallels to Caroline dying. It's really as far from it as possible.  But about the foreshadowing - Hahahhahah. Yes. And you missed one - Liam googling - "what is cancer"...
    • GH 2-17-21 Denise Alexander's last appearance https://www.instagram.com/p/DJdjXgwJ1Ez/
    • @Maxim This Liam dying out of the blue was crafted in a hurry for three reasons: 1. To facilitate JMW's leave 2. To prop Steffy - 'Oh, Steffy has so much grace and moral superiority that she ignored everything that swine HoLo did to tell her for the sake of their daughters. Queen Stephanie would be so proud of her!' 3. Distracting Steffy enough to give Lunacy an easy way to slither into Finn's life. Once Luna discovers that Lame is dying, she'll play that card: 'Dad, life is too short and precious!' If this was an intentional story, we would've had the typical B&B foreshadowing - Liam faceplanting into a bowl of pasta, Lame missing meetings, being forgetful. Instead, Lame does an impulsive quick quit and $B doesn't even care enough to make a single attempt to get him back? Please.
    • https://www.tvinsider.com/1180503/denise-alexander-dead-general-hospital-lesley-webber/ Alexander made her soap opera debut as Lois Adams on The Clear Horizon in 1960, but her big break came in 1966 when she was cast as Susan Hunter Martin on Days of Our Lives while still attending college at UCLA. As Susan, Alexander played a host of dramatic tales, including murdering her husband David Martin (played by Clive Clerk) in May 1967 after the death of their son. “She started out as the bad girl and was thrown out of boarding school for smoking and drinking,” recalled Alexander to We Love Soaps TV. “The character caught on and sparked something with the audience, and that is how Susan became an important part of the show. I was there for almost seven years…. I had such a wonderful time on Days. It was like going to camp every day for me. I loved the people, loved the show, and loved what I got to do. They loved the character and liked me as an actor and gave me lots of neat stuff to do. I didn’t even ask for a vacation for five years because if I worked 365 days a year, I thought I was great. It was a very good time in my life.” In 1973, Alexander was in contract negotiations with Days when ABC offered significant perks to the actress to join General Hospital to play Dr. Lesley Williams. Though Alexander loved her time in Salem, she decided to leave. “It was [Days’ Executive Producer] Betty Corday who sent me to General Hospital,” Alexander told welovesoaps.net. “She said, ‘You must do this.’ So when I went to General Hospital..."

    • Now that GL and LOL synopses are being added I'd welcome requests for specific soaps from 1976.
