Webmaster Errol Posted February 14 Webmaster Share Posted February 14 While I agree that this is nothing new in terms of shows hiring former soap stars who are well-known or playing a certain character on another soap, I do think hiring these people to play new characters on GH is rather confusing. They had no problem having Jackson Montgomery or Blair Cramer on last year but are still creating new characters for people who the audience would most associate with their previous soap roles, like Cameron Mathison as Drew Cain, Michael E. Knight as Martin Grey and now Eva LaRue as this Natalia Rogers-Ramirez. Why choose to do it for some but not for all? The options for soap actors are limited hence why they are recycled so much now, hence making it easier to have them reprise an old role MEK and Eva are at least good actors. We accept people being killed off on screen or even with their heads chopped off ("Soap Dish" reference).
