EW is gilding the lily like the rest, because the fact is Ingo wasn't dismissed for this but for not following the mandate. Anyone that pulls that string has to deal with asking GH the Burton question and debating whether to run the answer.

Yes, Ingo really did unwittingly make this situation easier for ABC and the press.

Mainstream press (no less) and not just soap press.

It’s a little frustrating because I would like to know if Burton is out. Do we only find out by watching and seeing if Jason randomly disappears?

At this point it wouldn't shock me at all if they announce it the day of or just before his last airdate. (Which is probably something soaps should do any way to cut down on spoilers, but still)

I concur.
And, to be honest, it makes sense that they would at least try to turn lemons into lemonade by making it a big shock when it happens.
Because, surely, justifying Jason leaving will need to be because of something big so...
Having him disappear during/after a big climax with Peter would have a bit of deja-vu to it but the timing is tight so I'd assume this ought to be where this is going.

The person I do feel bad about is Kelly T. She went in a few months from having struck storyline-gold that would have secured her place on the show for a long while to being, at best, in limbo and, at worse, at risk of being stranded.

I'm in the minority in that I've never felt KT was very good, from Day 1. She can do snark but most weak actors can do snark and get easy approval. I think she's weak in dramatic scenes or pathos and always has been. I used to name each of her 'troubled' expressions back in the day when she was with Nikolas and keeping the Rocco secret; 'dull surprise,' 'misty nausea', etc. I've never felt she is ready for the frontburner. Also, I remember her online tomfoolery with former bf Bryan Craig. But hey, that's me.

One can also say the same thing about people and 45 after all the horrible things he put this country through.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the soap spectrum, Adrienne Frantz of B&B fame posted a photo of her 5-year-old daughter, proud to have gotten the vaccine:

Ingo's apology was the equivalent of saying, " I can't be racist because I have a black friend!" It was pathetic.

That is exactly what his "apology" was.

I think the decreased airtime is very telling.

I know it's off topic, but what did she and Bryan Craig do?   I never though KT was that great either, but I do enjoy her with SBu/Jason.  But it could be because I felt like we have been stuck in JaSam hell for years so anyone is better.
