No follow up with Trina and Esme... ugh.

Why in the world is Jason having a bachelor party? This man is 50 and has been married multiple times. And it was just Spinelli and Michael

Jason looked depressed the whole time. Of course we had to get a line about how this bachelor party is what Sonny would have wanted. Was KeMo even awake in her scene with Burton?

The chairs at Curtis's bar look really uncomfortable, lol. Jason's party was sooo freaking lame with the Joey Novak drama. I laughed out loud when that little dweeb Spinelli punched him. Are you kidding me?

Again... why is Carly having a bachelorette party?! This is like her 20th marriage. Not to mention the guest list was pathetic and kind of showed that Carly has no friends, especially not her age. Sasha and Willow, really?

So Jason and Carly's wedding is "tomorrow"/September 17th. This is going to be one long-ass day in Port Charles.

Brando's secret side job as a stripper was a pretty funny twist. Also a good use of the actor's talents, LOL. Bobbie and Olivia were loving it, ha. So was Joss. Brando and Sasha don't really have a story so they should do more with him being a stripper. Imagine Gladys finding out.

Sam is so much more awake with Dante. She wants him to be a stripper too

Chase has been off work for a long time and is probably hurting for money. I think he needs a side gig too...

I took that to mean that a lot of things are going to happen "tomorrow" in Port Charles. I hope we're not disappointed.

And lmao about Brando, Chase and Dante. Too bad they don't have strippers at the Nurses Ball anymore lol

It's a shame because we have a lot of hot guys on the show now. Remember the one year where they had Spinelli, Max, and Michael (who looked like a baby at the time) stripping? Lord, lol, those were sad times. Now we have Chase, Brando, Curtis, Shawn, Dante. They could throw in Brooklyn's bodyguard or something too

We should have women lining up to get a lap dance from Chase at the Nurses Ball.

I also like GH having a large cast. It feels like a huge community, something that the other shows no longer have.   It’s always nice to see minor characters pop up every once in a while.  There’s supporting characters too. At times, like right now, you’ll see characters like Scotty/Obrecht get a lot of screen time.  The cast interactions a great.   And the best thing is no story dominates for a long time.  Valentini has done a great job budgeting the show with such a big cast and maintaining medium and large sets.

Actually, credit is where credit is due, while I don't think she is Kiki, I think your initial instincts when the "nurse" was introduced might have been right.
The fact that she referred to Kiki as Lauren - her real birth name that noone but her mom used - tells me her connection is with Ava, not Ryan.

I definitely have my nitpicky quibbles (some cast could be used better) but I appreciate the larger cast as well. Y&R should actually take notice.

I am curious with the COVID shutdown from March to July 2020 if the contract actors had their contracts extended by 3 months. Not that doing that would matter. If they wanna cut you they will

I enjoyed today's show. Esme being adopted is definitely not surprising. I wonder who her biological parents are. She also mentioned having siblings. She definitely spooked Ava and I wonder if Ava has been suspicious of Spencer being involved in her stalking and Esme showing up today, to chat, reinforced those suspicions for her. She did hit Nikolas with a restraining order, and I wonder if any possible suspicions of Spencer being the stalker had to do with that.

I also think it was interesting how much Joss doesn't like Esme. I do think it's setting things up for them to possibly clash more in the future. As well as Trina clashing with her. Trina seems a bit upset/unnerved at Esme's interest in Ava & she doesn't like the her and Spencer being together either. Tomorrow's preview looks interesting. I think that Esme may throw Trina having feelings for Spencer in her face in front of him.

I thought that the Dante/Jason scenes were kind of interesting with both of them talking about their bond with Sonny. And how they both had a father/son relationship with him. Dante said that Sonny would approve of Jason's wedding to Carly and wished them the best. It seems like they have just about everyone on this show including Dante, and also Monica today, being okay with this wedding.  I don't think that Sonny will be happy about it and that his feelings for Nina will complicate things. Speaking of him and Nina I enjoyed their scenes today. I do like them, and think they have nice chemistry. I would like to see him eventually forgive her after the truth comes out.

I also liked the scenes with TJ/Jordan and Jordan/Shawn Shawn/TJ. It was nice seeing TJ/Jordan express their love and support for each other.

    • Oohh...now I'm not sure. Long did come back in '87, didn't she. She broke up Ross and Vanessa almost from her first minute back. Van and Ross are at the Country Club when Josh dumps Reva. And Reva dramatically drapes herself on the CC stairs.
    • Glad you enjoyed watching. Yes, Michael seems like fun. I am always interested in more of these niche talk show appearances.
    • Thanks for the tag @DRW50
    • Upon reflection, I think you're right, their chilliness toward each other was more recent. She said women on the show in 1984 were not supportive and she still stays away from them. She seems friendly with Susan Hayes so Deidre is the only woman still around from those days, though I guess Kristian Alfonso and Leann Hunley could also qualify. And it might be someone long gone but who is still present in Suzanne's social circles.
    • I don't know.  The animosity seems to be more recent than the mid 80s.  When Maggie was a victim of the Salem Stalker i remember reading an interview with Suzanne where she said they aired the episode(s) surrounding Maggie death in a theatre and made a big deal about it.  Suzanne was very upset about being fired and Dee comforted her and said that they were making such a big deal about it because it was Suzanne/Maggie.  I cannot find the article but I will keep trying. That said Suzanne's comments on Soapy about how some of the female cast members treated her during her illness was disappointing to hear to say the least.
    • Anyway... Kristen should have a prison lesbian story arc. And then come out and become obsessed with Marlena so we can move her on from the Brady nonsense. Is that secret room still in the DiMera mansion?
    • Oh, wow... where can I find this interview?
    • I'm really liking Izaiah and Eva so far. And why can't I help but feel that something might happen to make Jessica stay in Fairmont Crest permanently?
    • So Pam didn't create her? I thought she had the whole of 87-88. I'll look around, thanks for the point in the right direction.

date: Tuesday, November 18, 2025 | Jamey Giddens, Danielle Paige | Steven Williford Samantha, accept the fact you were in the wrong and do not deserve your digital devices. Do not like it? Go upstairs. Read a book. Do some knitting. Bradley and Martin's "we get it" to Tyrell was hilarious and absolutely a parent's thing to do. Loving a bit of history of both the Duprees (via Eva) and the Hawthrones (via Izaiah). So cute. Poor June. I am sure she did not purposefully mean to mess up; we have all been there working in customer service. Shake it off and keep on keeping on! Not twice a week for Vernon's cobbler order... Sharon must be using that as payment for their meetings. I appreciate that Ted still cares about the Duprees despite the end of his marriage to Nicole. Not Dana using Peaches' crisis as a way of taking Ted's attention away from a co-worker. Girl, do not be so obvious. Bradley is a man after my own heart with a simply divine chocolate milkshake. That is the way to go. Dana really needs to dial it back. Money will not buy her everything she wants and she will realise it soon enough. And I doubt Shanice is scared off by her idle threats, either. "With all due respect, Ms Thomas, this isn't a shopping mall." Oh, Dr Wilkes just owned Dana's arrogant ass. I love it. Wigs and personas? Okay now, Shanice ate with that read. I like that June assured Bradley that she will not replace him or Martin in the twins' lives. And that blood does not make a parent. Words never rang more true. Jessica reading Samantha was amazing. Dana would want to involve Ted. Her obsession is crossing beyond dangerous boundaries. Not Dana catching Vernon leaving Sharon's room at the country club. That is not good. Not good at all! Notes: Ugh. Not another breakdown from writer2. This week was going so well. Thankfully, Paige is an outstanding scriptwriter (one of this soap's best), and her words today are excellent. The food at Orphey Gene's does look bomb, so I do not blame any of the characters for uptalking it. I would eat there daily if I could. And gain hundreds of pounds, too. David Lami Friebe (Izaiah) continues to make me sick watching him, but he is nice to listen to. I still really like having June as the central person hub at Orphey Gene's. That familiar face you see when you walk in and have scenes. Dana wanting a second opinion means we could have an incoming doctor, right...?
