LOL. Ultimately it’s SOD’s responsibility to have their correct image of actors in their magazines, but it’s funny that Shutterstock apologized in that thread for mislabeling that Kym Whitley image as Jackée. If I were SOD, I might think about using another image repository.

I was happy to see Theo back and that Valerie is still around. I hope they do Jackee justice and I’m still hoping they give Vanessa Williams something worth her talent. She really sparkles in her scenes with what little they give her. Now that Elani is established as a solid couple they have gold if they choose to write for these black actors.

Someone was guessing that the actor wearing the Day & Night shirt

was playing a male character, perhaps Theo.

But the hairstyle doesn't match the actor who played recast Theo in November.

To me, it looks like it might be a female actor who has short hair.  Jackée says her character Paulina has a daughter.

I had wondered if that actor/actress is playing Paulina's daughter,

but now I guess not.

Lamon in an Jan 27th interview:
“There will be quite a few new African Americans on the show. They are characters that the fans have been waiting to see, and will be happy to see. So, things will be looking a little different in Salem which is a good thing.”

Jackée's character Paulina has a daughter.

Paulina's daughter is named "Chanel"

and Chanel is played by actress Precious Way:

Precious Way:

Way has been a savant from an early age. She graduated high school early at 16 after realizing her passion was in music and entertainment. Her first nationally released single, Watch Me Go, made its radio debut in 2018, which lead to her touring and performing at festivals and venues, including Times Square and Disney World. After this, she began acting professionally and participated in the American Black Film Festival competition, going on to book a co-lead role in Partners in Rhyme for Urban Movie Chanel. The series comes from female hip hop legend MC Lyte, who produces and co-stars along with Martin and The Jamie Foxx Show Executive Producer, Bentley Kyle Evans.

After the debut of her single, Way turned her eye to acting and landed the co-lead role of Luscious T in the upcoming series Partners in Rhyme for Urban Movie Chanel.
