But really. I feel like we've heard this before. Eileen's back and Ashley will have a BIG STORY. And it never ends up being the case. Crossing my fingers it's different.

She lives in Oregon and has been recurring status since 2012, but she has always maintained that she is very happy to work so long as the storyline is there. Griffith has been at Y&R when she's been contract and when she's been recurring, but it remains to be seen how she will be utilized.

Hes never really had the chance . She always left or been fired by the previous regime before him 

Doesn't this happen every few years? Can they bring back people who haven't had on and off stories over the last decade?

lmao, was DAYS sniffing around? Anyways, older female having a "big story" is almost always an illness... early-onset alzheimer's (and then we find out Kyle, Theo or Adam was drugging her to get her out of their way?)? Cancer? 🙄😴

Sounds like someone’s source got it wrong. Too bad. 

I'm kind of relieved, since it'd be under Josh Griffith. I can continue to have a reason NOT to watch.

What a shame, but glad Eileen is still willing to appear on the show.

She said in a Michael Fairman interview a few months back that she’s surprised Y&R hasn’t recast yet because she has no intention of returning full time. I wonder why she feels this way. Is she done with acting in general or just daytime? I wonder what she has cooking that we don’t know about.
