I wonder who else's death that Thomas ends up being responsible for. Maybe Zoe? She did recently return and interact with him. I also wonder what might happen to Flo and how her upcoming absence will be explained. The actress will be offscreen for a bit due to the actress taking off 6 and half weeks to film a movie. Also, it sounds like Hope might go to some desperate measures to continue to act as a mother figure to Thomas.

Here are some more spoilers from the Zap2it site for B&B going into November.

Ridge will explain to Eric how Brooke's history with Stefanie is repeating itself with Hope and Thomas. Ridge will unexpectedly find Shauna asleep in his bed. Ridge will surprise Shauna with the answer to her question about their current sleeping arrangement. Hope will share her plan about using Thomas's love for her to take Douglas away from him with Brooke. Shauna will confide in Quinn about her kiss with Ridge, and Brooke will call Ridge to tell him how much she misses him but things will go South when she brings up Thomas.

Hope will attend Eric & Quinn's Halloween party to manipulate Thomas into signing adoption papers. And Liam and Steffy will reconnect when he takes Beth to spend Halloween night with her & Kelly. Steffy and Liam will take great comfort and joy in their daughters. Hope will find herself in a bind when Thomas and Douglas question her about their future together.

It would be odd for the show to kill off Flo so soon already but there isn't really much anyone else for Flo to interact with. Male characters like Rick, Thorne, and even someone like Oliver should still be featured on the show yet all we have right now is Ridge, Liam, Wyatt, Bill, and Thomas.

After Emma's random death after not having appeared on the show in months, it could be anyone minor really.

Regarding Y&R spoilers @xtr what is this about Sharon being "loose"? Hadn't seen that in the SOD spoilers yet.

the "shocking death" is probably Quinn. Today, Donna was calling Eric "honeybear" and it was weird and seemed out of nowhere. It's interesting that they're very clearly lightning up on Big Bad Thomas. They've all but stopped playing "evil" music when he's scheming and now we have Hope using his feelings to manipulate him? LOL I hope this sticks, and we finally see a younger guy on the canvas that ptb is investing in that isn't a freaking Spencer.

Dina's shocking secret is publicly revealed, she and Stuart Brooks had an illegitimate child together!  Ashley and Traci team-up to find out what happened to that lost child, and realize that a lost relative of theirs may already be in Genoa City involved with the Abbots!

... Theo? Is he really that interesting that he has to be connected to the Abbott and the Brooks (!) families? He is so generic and flat, like someone from early 00's OLTL

Here is a horrible idea: Colin is Dina's son and the Abbott/Brooks relative is Cane. If I hadn't read the spoilers I would go with that.

I hate these random rewrites. Y&R was never that kind of a show. They never had to make Nina, Ryan or Brad John's kid.

I d rather see Amanda as an Abbott instead of Theo, but at this point JG has no idea what he is writing and he seems bored and uninspired.

Shades of the Dylan rewrite. He could feasibly have been Paul's son but Paul & Nikki?

And making Avery related to Phyllis.

Now we have Theo as Dina's grandson. And related to the Brooks. Will the Brooks connection be explored at all?

Why is it that more often than not these long lost relatives are already on the canvas?

Traci and Jack will probably be all over Theo until the actor leaves or is dropped and then he will be forgotten.

A long lost Brooks is stupid because there are existing Brooks that could be easily written into the show. Hello, Brooks is waiting in the wings! He could easily be running a media empire and it amazes me that way back to Restless Style they never thought to bring him on. That's who Dylan should've been. If anything, Theo could've been his son. Now we have Theo, but we still don't know who the secret Abbott/Brooks sibling is. That is underwhelming.

"A stunning twist occurs as Cane's entire backstory is suspected to be a massive con itself!"

You mean, that [!@#$%^&*] with his "family" that they subjected us to was all a lie?  LOL!

He must've really been a terror behind the scenes because they're obviously trolling him. He ended the story with Traci and posted gloating how well his meeting with the writers went for new stories. When he filmed this and saw Lily was back he was excited as well. Then you look at the spoilers this does kinda look like the beginning of a new story. I'm beginning to think they let him film these episodes not even knowing this was his last episodes lol.

Thank you!  I knew that wasn't just my imagination, I remember seeing that post (either from Instagram) on his social media.

I really think he got a big head on account of his fanatics who were boosted him and didn't realize that his bubble was about to burst. Someone mentioned that he didn't post about Jeanne Cooper's birthday, despite the fact that he took over her dressing room and did so much to try to ingratiate himself into her company and memory (much like he did with KSJ, (despite the fact that KSJ had a much longer, closer relationship to other cast members).  All that glad-handing only goes so far when someone tanks all their opportunities because they think they're superior to their colleague.

I'm not sure. I wonder it just means that Sharon will be torn about her feelings for Adam. The November sweeps spoilers from SOD did mention that Sharon would try and stay away from Adam. Maybe she will have a hard time doing that and won't seem like she can commit to Rey.

Also, according to the day ahead recap from soaps.com it is confirmed that Theo's dad Eric Vanderway is indeed the child that Dina gave up for adoption. Jack and Traci find his name on the adoption decree. So now we have Theo with connections on and off of canvas as a Brooks and Dina's grandchild and Jack/Traci/Ashley's nephew/Kyle's cousin. I wonder how this will impact his relationship with Kyle once they learn all of this information.

What would be the point if they aren’t going to bring back some of the Brooks family? Sort of like how the show kept referring to Chance like this off-screen bogeyman with no intention of actually casting him. (Unless their pacing is really that bad and we end up getting a casting notice for a “30-something hunk” in the coming months.)

    • So, I have been in the hospital all week. I am close to being up to date on my soaps. Now I have to go to the Infusion Ctr daily to get IV antibiotics, for 6 weeks. I am frankly exhausted. A hospital is no place to be when you're sick. Hooked up to machines that go beep beep beep all day & night long. Someone wakes you up every hour on the hour for something, either to stick you with needles or to take your gosh-awful blood pressure for the umpteenth time. So, you don't get any sleep. Now I have a central line, upper right chest. After they "installed" it, I said, I am now Borg. They just stared at me. Apparently scifi is not general knowledge. What happened? I have an infection inside my big toe right foot & it burned the skin on my foot. The burned skin is already better. It was like a bad sunburn. The infection inside the toe is the issue. Oral antibiotics won't even get its attention. So, IV antibiotics plus time.

As Salem bids farewell to John Black on Monday, the "Days" family and fans say a final goodbye to Drake Hogestyn.   From his time as a young man playing baseball in the minor leagues for the New York Yankees to his almost four-decade run as John Black, Drake always did his best. And, while becoming a soap opera icon, he spent almost 40 years at "Days" telling the best stories and taking the younger cast under his wing to make sure they would do their best as well. Thank you, Drake, for the legacy you have left for everyone at "Days." The impact you made on the cast, crew and fans will never be forgotten...and that's a fact.
    • I found an interview with Joseph Breen (Will Jeffries) where he mentions that Reva was put in a coma so Zimmer could go to Hollywood to do a pilot (OMG, if ONLY it had been picked up, LOL) and that Sonni and Josh and Will became a popular with the audience while she was out of commission.  If you want to read the whole thing: https://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewarticle.asp?id=47394 Breen was known for being very candid in interviews, I wish I could find more of them. I seem to recall he made a couple of snarky comments about Zimmer, implying she was not above acting like a diva. Sounded to me like he had a lot of respect for Forbes (who went on to have a very strong and varied career after GL).
    • I was so confused why Devon was prying into Nicks love life and then it clicked and I remembered they’re brother-in-laws. Shows how little I pay attention to this show anymore. I was like uh? Do these two even know each other this well?
    • The Bell soaps, B&B and Y&R: cannot watch. If I went by the last time I did I would have to give them both D- but I really don't think it counts when you're not a daily watcher.  DAYS: B+ (Now this is with the knowledge that for years I have given this show a D- because I've been a fan for too long to give it the F it deserved.) GH: A+ (With Korte driving this bus to me the show is so much better! IMO we just had the best NB in so many years I cannot count!) BTG: A solid (Things I love, a few I do not, nothing I hate, still find it in general remarkable.) As always, thanks for doing this thread. I count it. I always look for it & I always post.
    • Okay, I continue to maintain that what is so good about this particular reveal followed by umbrella storyline is that you can see & understand many different points of view where there is not one bad guy or one 100% right person.  About your stated opinion, that Lois & Gloria did the right thing, you know that this was technically an illegal adoption? For it to have been legal the father, if known, would have to have been informed & have signed off on terminating his own paternal rights. And, of course, it is clear how many people they lied to.  Personally I feel like Lois is going to take the biggest "public" blame with Lulu a close second in the blame category. I am looking forward to a tongue lashing I hope Brook Lynn gives to Gloria. I continue to be more than annoyed with Dante. First his attitude toward Gio with regards to Rocco & a drinking game & its results. Second his attitude toward Lulu. Meanwhile enjoying the show every day!
    • Lois and Gloria did the right thing I feel knowing it was Camila that raised Gio has BL feeling some jealousy No one is saying that Camila was a bad mother to Gio I believe it will be Gio saying that Camila was great to him, thanking Lois and Gloria to get BL to see truth
    • Its realistic for Dani and  true of how the character thinks and operates. We've known her long enough to by that this would be consistent with her past characterizatioin
    • Random takes: - What was even the point of that jeweler guy? Also—Dani was borderline harassing him. - I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I want Jacob and Kat to happen. I need something messy to completely dismantle the Duprees—and Katomas just isn’t cutting it.  - I officially can’t stand Jacob and his wife. Same goes for Anita and Vernon. - Hayley’s corset was just as ugly as it looked uncomfortable. - I genuinely don’t remember when or how Derek and Ashley reconciled—and I’m someone who didn’t even mind their storyline! LMAO. - Tuesday’s episode was a mess. - Dani finding out about Hayley’s pregnancy and immediately thinking, “She’s faking it”—huh?! What writer thought that was a realistic reaction? I get denial, but that leap was absurd. I agree the ‘Leslie Victorious’ moment was way OTT. But hey, at least I wasn’t yawning. The following episode, where she handed over her daughter’s last few belongings was much better. - I can’t with the constant back-and-forth between Orphey Gene’s and the Country Club. I forgot this was such a soap trope, but even back in my loyal viewer days (late ‘90s, early 2000s), it wasn’t this bad. While GH has a ton of beautiful sets, we’re stuck with the same three—and half of them are ugly. Also: it’s been way too long since we had a party, gala, or any kind of event. I know the Richardsons’ anniversary gala (back in late April) has had a big ripple effect, but I was kinda getting used to those large-scale episodes. Fingers crossed they don’t go with Guza.
    • The horrific comments execs and writers make when they justify rape storylines or keeping rapists as love interests is just so icky. I remember Ron Carlivati's comments about the reraping of Marty storyline on OLTL. Made my skin crawl.  No matter what you think of her, Susan Lucci could have demanded front burner storylines but she never did. She was happy to be part of an ensemble. I never got that vibe from Zimmer.  For me, Reva was just not a character I cared that much about after a certain point no matter how talented Zimmer is/was. I think Zimmer had a keener eye for what made a good storyline, but she was less willing to take a backseat if it meant someone else got to shine. I'm trying to recall if she ever mentions Michelle Forbes in her book--one of the few times the viewers did not care about Reva in a storyline. My sense is if she did, it was probably some backhanded remark about how she had to show Forbes the ropes.
