Haven't watched but have heard of the complaining about Thomas and the story. It's sad when you have to write a character out of character to fit the story line. I should've known Thomas would be ruined when they recast with that particular actor.

Ha, he does have the "crazy eyes" look, so I guess it was inevitable.  I guess this is the reason Taylor couldn't be around, cause she should have been able to see something was off with her son. Then again, she was practically the one to initiate this whole Thomas and Hope being together thing so Liam could be with Steffy.

 

Not that it seems to matter anymore, but if they were going to go in this direction with Thomas, why not have it revealed that he, not Taylor, shot Bill? And she covered for him and sent him off to "get help."  There were rumors about this last winter when Taylor was freaking out about it and Brooke found out. When this Thomas first appeared when have been a good time to make that tie. I'm not sure it there would be a point now.

I'm so worried they aren't going to allow Thomas to get locked up for any of this...remember Steffy never payed for killing Ally. 

but how long till it's revealed Thomas has a brain tumor too?

Agree.  Ron Moss spent years acting like a cardboard box and that's a stretch of a compliment. 

 

Nothing will happen to Thomas.  Maybe Taylor will emerge from one of Steffy's rooms since she was supposedly living there and cure him.  Or maybe return from France where they never showed her.  Or Sally will emerge from a non-story and attempt to bed Beavis/Thomas.  Or Wyatt.

 

I DVRd and fast forwarded to the end just to see how they would kill Emma.  And it's the same thing with B&B that has always been the problem with the show.  No one actually lives in Los Angeles.  It's a tiny place.  No one can go find someone else to date, and Stephanie (world famous matriarch of a fashion design family) - can go missing and be in a homeless shelter and no one recognizes her and figures it out for months and months.  Steffy and Ally can have it out during rush hour in the dark on the side of the road and Steffy can hit her in the head with a Tayahh Eye-onn and no one drives by.  Emma drives away from the Office during the day, and Thomas catches up with her, and she busts through the guard rail, and he stands there looking down into a ravine and her car and it's pitch dark.  And because no one really lives in Los Angeles and it's a city of a population of 10, no one drives by.  Los Angeles is a city of 18 people on B&B.  It's been the biggest joke since the beginning.  And now it's worse because they spend the money to do the Drone shots over his huge city and then...no one is really there or driving on those roads or living in all of those houses or working in all of those buildings. 

 

As is - even aside from all of that - no one works at Forrester.  It's comical.  Then they'll have a fashion show next week - I guess with all the hard work they've been doing, and Steffy will orchestrate the whole thing - maybe with the amazing disappearing Nanny that she can't afford to pay, except when it's convenient.  No one shows up at Forrester except for Xander, Zoe - Pam?  Thomas since he came back.  Brooke shows up and just talks to people.  I guess.  So awful.  But Los Angeles as the biggest ghost town where no one lives has always been the biggest joke on this show. 

 

Wyatt as the social media expert - back when it was Steffy!  You have 2 MILLION FOLLOWERS!  And no one notices her at lunch.  Maya - the trans "Lead Model"...and there's no paparazzi and no one recognizes her around town.  No one lives in the LA that is B&B.  They don't even try.  It would be so easy just to give it a TAD bit of effort but they don't and no one cares.  They know the audience is stupid.  It's really too bad.  I've said before - I watch on my tape/DVR delay just for the comedy of it.  To hear it's popular around the world makes me sad.

Or trying to pass something.  I saw the very end of the Thomas argument and thought...Lord all of these people who shouldn't even be in orbit - it's so obvious who is going to die here within the next 3 minutes.  Let's bring back someone who hasn't been seen for 2 or 3 months and then wonder who is gonna get offed...

 

And Hopeless is so stupid - wouldn't you be wondering at this point having walked in on conversations of people talking about Beth?  People who shouldn't really even care that much?  But a couple of times I've seen she's walked in on people talking about Beth and then when she asks why they were talking about her it's "Oh, we'll just never forget her and we know how upset you are."  And Hopeless is like, "Oh, OK.  Thanks."

      Now coming into June...well...   I knew it was coming but I didn't like the start to the next round of Dani/Bill/Hayley. As the 3 A plots from the start of the show (The SilkPress storyline and Martin's Secret being the other two), it needed to be benched for a while to develop those characters and allow other characters and storylines to grow. 3 months in, Hayley is the weak link, Dani is still divisive, but not boring, and Bill has been making his mark with some plots faster than others. So last week seeing the story starting to loop back around to them with Hayley's potential pregnancy, I honestly had mixed feelings.   I get it. The SilkPress storyline is currently in aftermath/next turn mode, so it has to be moved into a C plot position. Moreso if we want to keep the very talented Miss Trish around. And I love how clever the writers are being with the storyline. They give us enough in the episodes and are still playing out beats to keep the appetite fed. I don't feel like anyone is being dumbed down to keep her around. And Trish is giving nuances in her alone scenes with NuTed. I shouldn't care for a clear psycho, but she be selling it. That said...I wish they had given us a little more of the Martin's Secret storyline in the last week of the month though I loved the game of cat and mouse Bill did on Martin and Smitty to keep the storyline alive and active after it had a nice build beginning of May and vanished for a week mid-May. And it appears like it's about to go back to the backburner as an A plot which of course leaves the A plot of Dani/Bill/Hayley.   I am probably in the minority as someone who is not anti-Dani here and even she annoyed the heck out of me last week. In character true, but I just felt like there was a way to get all of that across without it feeling like...as I've said before...one step forward, two steps back...and have it feel organic. I liked Hayley got a little bit of edge with her, but she still ain't no match for Dani. And it reminds to be seen if we should be going back to that well of a story yet.   Now about today's show...   And I thought Tracy was bad! lol. But YES. Sharon has been worth the wait. And so has Anita's story! Finally having TT in the limelight. This has been a nice slow burn for me and a nice B plot. And the actress is good. The wig is giving. And her holding what Anita's secret is over her head and threatening to tell Vernon....Ooooo...that is what I was waiting for.    And speaking of bad...I thought Eva vs Kat was a great rivalry. But I am loving the rivalry that is growing with 'Nancy Drew' and Silk Press Sheila! They both get good licks in and are so cunning with each other. And I definitely have liked that since the anniversary party, that it has been growing. Now that Kat has been proven right, she has not backed down. And neither has SilkPress. And we got a 'Ms. B@tch' moment, too? LOVE. Eva coming up with a trump card was delicious and so 90s Sami Brady. GOOD. And the coda with Jacob and the expert...YES. The Silk Press storyline has been the best paced on the show so I love that the aftermath of the anniversary party continues to be so...barring one flaw...well for me. Not enough Nicole's POV.   And I like the C plots on display. And by that, I mean Chelsea with Vernon. And it made me wonder what the writers have plan for her love life now that the throuple is over with. I was watching her and going awww.   And of course the mystery man around Martin. I am starting to wonder if he really even works at the country club given how he made a run for it. That would be a twist.    Speaking of Martin...good to see him in scenes with his father and mother.    I'm getting used to NuTed.    I felt the last episode of May was a bit of a letdown, but this was a very nice recovery.

      Unless they cut him, I'd think he would stay. Surely, he didn't choose to return because he expected high quality. I figure he gets to work when he wants and spend a lot of time doing his own thing and being with his family.

      The writing for Liz and Lucky is indeed terrible, but if JJ signed a one-year contract he may be gone in a couple of months anyway. Perhaps they’re just cutting their losses.

      That would be his older sister Stacey. She was the center of a big story back in the day. Nola was out to snag medical student Kelly Nelson, who she thought would provide her with the life she craved. He was in love with a girl named Morgan. Nola plotted to get pregnant by him, but couldn't manage to get him in bed. So she seduced Floyd, who thought she was in love with him. When she knew she was pregnant, she got Kelly drunk and made sure he woke up next to her in bed. Kelly believed her when she told him he made her pregnant. They were about to elope to Las Vegas, but her mother ratted her out and Kelly abandoned her. She almost married Floyd, but jilted him at the altar. She went to work for Quint. When the baby came prematurely, Kelly saved both of them. She named the baby Kelly Louise to irk Morgan, who was now married to Kelly. When she fell in love with Quint, she had a change of heart over all the trouble she had caused, so she changed the baby's name to Anastasia Louise, shortened to Stacey. Quint was a devoted stepfather and Henry treated her like his own granddaughter.  After Quint and Nola leave SF, I believe Stacey is never seen again. Which is odd, you would think they would have brought her back with Nola and J, but they never did.
