Just started the final season of the brilliant Wentworth. These ladies don't give me time to breathe.

Also, watched the returning episode of Dexter, which has got off to a great start so far.

Now watching The Chair on Netflix with Sandra Oh, Holland Taylor, Bob Balaban, and Jay Duplass. I’m reminded of my ex, who was a history professor, and not in a good way.

Not gonna spoil the Great British Baking Show finale for those who haven’t watched on Netflix or C4, but Chigs Parmar is adorable af.

The gays have been trying to figure out if he’s family, but the number of bikini-clad women he follows on IG seems to indicate no.

I spent my Christmas vacation binging "Upstairs Downstairs".

Yes, it's 50 years old, the sets are a bit wobbly sometimes and there's no Maggie Smith, yet despite all this it still outshines "Downton Abbey" with ease.

It's always fun to discover a show. Even through it had been on five seasons. I never heard of it. It's probably one of those shows that had very little publicly. Search Party was fun and it got more batsh!t crazy each season. From a comedy drama/thriller to a zombie apocalypse. No show can claim that distinction.

The original MacGyver with Richard Dean Anderson.  I binged it a few months ago.
Gotta get my Jeff Webber somehow.

But seriously. I loved that this series highlighted MacGyver's refusal to use a gun.  And instead used his brain.

    • GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!!   I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change?   I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.
    • I really hope Laura doesn’t get reelected. She doesn’t deserve it. Imagine her campaign staff, freaking out at the Metro Court as election results come in while she’s hanging out with Sonny.
    • Thanks for that. It was great to see her in an interview. She's very likable. Although it was somewhat confusing. What new soap is she talking about going on audition for in 1973. Was it The Young and the Restless? Is it just me or did they never even say the name of this soap opera? Days wasn't new in 1973 and there was no "Jack" with three daughters on The Young and the Restless. What soap are they talking about? The editing around that part was weird and choppy. I felt like there was a chunk missing or something. And I'm not sure why she was saying she got colorectal cancer from HPV and said it's because she never got the HPV vaccine but then said she's never had anal sex. I'm not a doctor but that didn't seem to make any medical sense. I don't know. Maybe I'm tired. It just seemed like some of this interview didn't make sense.
    • If it helps any, the last script cover from the Elman papers that I have is from episode #3,736 airdate November 15, 1977. Writers are the Hollands with Frank Salisbury.
    • B&B really does look incredible. The lighting and the polished sets have made a significant difference how visually appealing the show is now.
    • I found the problem with the Labine era was that the show lost some humour when the Labines came on and it could be dull. They also didn't seem to understand some of the characters. As others have said, it looks fantastic in comparison to the next regime but I just remember boredom being the primary response.
    • Something I didn't realize: Frank Ashmore, who played Monica's investigator Corrigan in 1981, was also Victor, the third guy in the cockpit, in Airplane!
    • Thanks, maybe I will skim through those episodes.  I have previously binged late 1985 through early 1987; April-June, August 1992 (I skipped Carlo Hesser murder trial), Jan-March 1995 and I began watching in 2006. I just struggle to stay consistent with routines especially binging routines haha
    • I could've sworn we went over the Bobbie thing a while ago, and saw her introduced to Rick and Lesley as "Nurse Barbara" in very late '77? Or was that early '78? I know the clip is online. Jackie always credited Marland with creating her IIRC.
    • Thanks.  Loon Lake - very on the nose. With that "dad" outfit Bo looks even more like Cassie's father...
