Like many other websites, the SON Community has experienced a high volume of bad bot traffic in recent months, resulting in incorrect data collection by Google Analytics, the premier provider that tracks page views and sessions by the minute, hour, day, etc. for all websites receiving visitors across the web.
As a result, we have taken several steps to reduce this influx of bad traffic, including blocking visits unilaterally from the following countries:
China
Cambodia
Hong Kong
Indonesia
Japan
Malaysia
Singapore
Vietnam
This results in a "blocked" message appearing on the screens of those who are potentially trying to visit legitimately. We apologize if this is affecting you, but the decision to block these countries was necessary because traffic from them has been deemed invalid, and we cannot afford for it to continue.
