Taste is taste, but it certainly beats the basic black, with an occasional red tie I have grown tired of.

Wouldn’t mind more pops of color, but I just fear we’re verging on old-school Jimmy Buffett vibes at times. YMMV of course, and clearly a lot of people like that style.

Today's episode showed the range of Tristan Leabu. You could feel the pain he was feeling over his father.

It's a shame to see him go. There was plenty of potential with Reed, but from the get-go, but they were lost as what to do with him. Billy stepping up was awesome. He dropped everything to be there for Reed.

Great final scenes between Reed and Victoria.

Well done by all.

Nick and Victor making peace -- another thumbs up.

Maybe it was the writing, but I personally didn't like the kid at all. Too whiny, no real likeable quality. Even if I complain about Traci crying incessantly, I can still why people like her.

He was solid.

That's probably why they let him go.

They always seem to do their best work as they are being let go it seems... :/

Probably because the writers are engaged enough to start writing for the character. Of course, the irony being that it is for their exit story (*coughs Chelsea coughs*).

This show is incapable of writing for teens and adolescents.  When's the last time anyone saw the Ashby twins?  If they're not next, their onscreen time will be the barest of minimums, if it already isn't there yet.

This might be the worst group of teens on any soap ever, I'll encompass Days in that as well. I don't believe there's been a real good teen set in over a decade.

They haven't given them much to do, but the young man playing Charlie has tons of potential and charisma in spades.  You're right though, they are probably going to slowly be reduced to nothing.

I thought Reed had potential too but alas, another wasted "young" on The Old and Pathetic.

This show just wants to insist the “young” are Nick,Sharon,Victoria,Billy,Phyllis

This is the truth! It's so strange too.

The writers never gave him anything meaty to do. I've already started ff most episodes and will probably tune out again with JT gone and Leabu out too. The nonsense of the Abbott story is horrible beyond words. New Kyle is just being written like a totally new character. This is not Kyle.

I like the actor, but they seem to be doing another throw and see what sticks situation, similar to what happened with Reed.

He had an odd recent exchange with Phyllis, asking her if he could put a smile on her face like Billy did, and then went on to inquire about Summer. Odd small talk and weird segue.

He's made out with Hilary, flirted with Mariah, but they were one-offs.

Everything that Kyle was not before. Mal is doing an awful job with these characters.

And to think they SORAS'ed the two just to use them as teenaged wallpaper.
