I like snarky Q guardian Jason a lot more than I've liked Jason since about 2000, so I'm deeply biased.

That being said, I'm still not over the multiple levels of quality control failure in the scripted scenes with Laura and Holly yesterday. There were so many huge continuity issues (when and how Luke and Holly had their affair, what Holly knew about Laura and Lucky, whether or not she knew Bill, etc.). Ron doesn't need to be on-set to catch those - many HWs aren't, and haven't been for many years - but someone in the production should have. Also, the Bill snafu aside (which still should not been allowed), I have to wonder how much of the other big mistakes were scripted and/or cleared by RC. He has many faults but I'm pretty sure he knows his GH history better than that. When he wants to he can be almost as anal as any of us.

Billy Miller as Jason is a big failure. How long will Carlivati drag this out? BM as Jason is so boring and comma inducing.

The Denise story is just awful. Its Janet from ATWT all over again….

Charlie's Angels today was darn painful. The way the 5 come up with that idiotic plan…just bad….cant wait for Tony Shelly Hack Geary to leave….

I find Denise to be just as big a fail as I found Ava to be.

Both BM and MW (among others) must have something on someone to keep being hired.

I'm speechless over this Luke/Laura/Robert/Holly/Bill bullshit. Too much stupid there.

I admit I have actually watched this show for the last month for some reason....I mean I watched here and there from 2009-2011, but after hearing everyone complain I had to join in on the fun....LOL

all I can say so far......not that he's a bad actor, but damn has that Dillon but shoved down our throats or what?....I know this is probably typical Cartini showing off their latest "meat" but enough already....and the fact that it's turned into Dante thinking Lulu is having an affair with Dillion is just stupid.....

BM chomped on his teeth like 10 times during that scene with Nickolas yesterday....tongue.png

It was more distracting then usual....though I haven't watched chompers on my screen in over a year anyways....

I will say that him and Chad Duell look like they are related...forgive me for saying I like them having scenes together....

I already know how this is gonna go down, but what's the point of Nina again??

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
