Mishael and her little baby bump were so cute. I don't know how I didn't see out before.

Last time I was on this board, I was thinking that something specific should happen with Chelsea's career and it looks as if a part of it is going to happen, albeit in a sloppily written manner:

Chelsea will be leaving Jabot. Just last week, I was thinking that Chelsea ought to go the indie route and just fly solo. Perhaps AdamGabriel can be an angel investor (angel Gabriel, you get it) Maybe even Sharon can be an early investor. Somehow I knew when Victor merged Newman with Jabot, Chelsea would be out soon.

I wish they'd use the story to take some of these characters in a more multfaceted direction but I'm pretty sure that's not what we're going to get.

Looks like JFP has brought her Emmy tactics with her to Y&R. Not much competition in HK's category but AH is terrible, just awful.

I really don't understand the Fake Jack storyline. Victor vs. Jack is too contrived most of the time and these storyline doesn't seem to have an interesting ending in sight.

She used to be known for selecting the actors she thought deserved the awards, and getting her team to all vote the way she wanted them to. It was pretty common for her to only have one actor per category so she could sweep as many categories as possible. But other soaps started doing it too and it became less effective overall. People on her shows have spoken about it, I don't think its a rumor just fact. Some of the OLTL folks didn't like it as I recall, but did enjoy the show getting more attention.

The show sucked today.

MCE and GT both have great stems. Sharon looked fabulous, and JH is plum pretty. That's all.

Does anyone have more info on Sophia Pernas? I just read at Soaps.com that she will be joining the show starting June 1st. and she will be interacting with major characters. She looks like she may become part of the Scoobies story.

Yes, the notorious favoritism and block voting issues.

What may be most important is that she's known to have an uncanny knack for choosing the best reels to submit. With the exception of Erika Slezak (who was the ultimate pro at this), most actors are terrible at choosing reels because they let their own subjective criteria override what voters will appreciate.

Glad I missed it. My DVR only recorded the first minute and a half....

I still dont know who thought Burgess Jenkins would make a great Billy. He totally has no screen presense. He is dull as dirt when he delivers his lines.

IA Sudsy. He's horrible.

There's something I want to like about Jenkins, but his age is too distracting and Billy has become completely unrecognizable as a character these days. He'd probably make a half-way decent Mike Kasnoff recast though.

...Or Stuart Brooks recast...LOL Just kidding...
