November 23, 201510 yr Author Member Somebody said that MJB looked scared in this clip. What do you think? http://www.nbc.com/the-wiz-live/video/get-ready-for-mary-j-blige-in-the-wiz-live/2941502
December 4, 201510 yr Member This is really cute. Amber was great and now Elijah! I've loved him since The new age, Hairspray! He was definitely a bright spot of that film.
December 4, 201510 yr Member The dancing from the Scarecrow and the Crows.... plus the Poppies! I simply can't!I love how modernized it is. I really do.
December 4, 201510 yr Member So beautiful. The whole thing is so beautiful. Kudos, NBC. #BlackExellence
December 4, 201510 yr Member The actress who plays Dorothy was singing and dancing well but she was getting overshadowed by the rest of the cast. Amber has been slaying all week. First she was bringing people to tears in her Christmas movie and tonight she slayed her performance. Elijah is really talented. Mary's acting was bad but her singing saved her performance. I saw a tweet that said Emerald City is Burning!
December 4, 201510 yr Member This has been fantastic all around. The acting, the singing, the costumes ... everything has been really good. It has flown by. So well done. I can't praise it enough. Third time was definitely the charm for the NBC live musicals. It's going to be hard to top this, if they even try. I'm very curious to see the ratings tomorrow. It's been getting praised left and right (of course there's some hate but who cares?).

I imagine that made a lot of people tune out of these for good.
December 4, 201510 yr Member As a community, we (African Americans) needed this. The Wiz came at the right time. A time when we all needed inspiration & something uplifting. Uzo and Shanice have me in tears. Edited December 4, 201510 yr by Nothin'ButAttitude
December 4, 201510 yr Author Member I enjoyed that. Everything staged really well. I saw a tweet that said Emerald City is Burning! I think that was because the dancers were Voguing, a reference to the documentary Paris is Burning.
