Stephen Collins (Eric Camden from 7th Heaven) admits to child molestation on tape

Per HuffPost, the LAPD received the tape in 2012 and investigated but closed the case because they couldn't identify any victims, but supposedly LAPD is listening to the tape and has been in touch with NYPD.

This whole situation is so sad. It looks like he has committed suicide. Donna D'Errico from Baywatch is his neighbor and posted pictures of the street blocked off by police and said all she knows is that he shot himself, but she doesn't know anything else. It's just terrible as somebody who loved him. I'm first trying to decompress the news of the child molestation claims and then almost immediately to find out he shot himself just is too much for one day.

His family, friends and victims are all in my thoughts right now.

Killing yourself to avoid the consequences of molesting and harming children is being a coward.

Sometimes it is, like in the case of that guy last year who held those women captive in his home for years, and then the minute he was captive in prison he killed himself.
