Her hair should be drab she was in a coma for one year. Btw I disagree with Gina is a CBS actress. I loved her first stint as Kelly on OLTL. She was endearing funny and adorable and she was very young. Loved her crazy outfits and her chemistry with tuc Watkins and Nathan Fillion. She did great work on the 1997 storyline when Kelly hit Blair's car causing her to lose Patrick. She was the original Kelly loved her but I loathed her 2010 return. She was paired with an awful Joey and there was no game plan there. Ron didn't have clue where Kelly was going and IMO Gina hadn't played her in 8 years and she just got off of Dinah and looked bored. Kelly was a very different character then Dinah but I loved her 1995 to 2001 stint she was there for seven years. It's crazy Gina is celebrating come February 2015 20 years in daytime. From 21 to 41 she's sure grown in that period

She only came into her own and got recognition as an actress when she started playing Dinah. Kelly may have gotten her into the business, but she got very little attention for playing that part.

Something about her I think pops better over at CBS, but that may be because the roles being a better fit for her too.

I believe GT said her hair is eventually going to be red.

I absolutely love the look this actress is sporting at the moment. It looks like she's wearing pale foundation, pale eye shadow, lots of mascara and no blush. Her dark hair makes it all really pop. In fact all the hair and makeup on today's show was fab. Whoever cut Nikki's hair and brightened up her make up should get an Emmy just for that. What an improvement. I guess alcohol agrees with her. Ditto with Nick's shave and general clean up. He's actually kinda hot again.

Mariah gives me life. She's like a little black cloud floating around keeping it real. I laughed out loud when Summer asked her for the something blue she was supposed to bring for Sharon and she said "you were serious about that?". I love her chemistry with Victor, Nick and Faith too. The only scenes with her that are weak imo are when she's flirting with Kevin. It comes off as so fake, it's like, ugh, just stop.

Gina Tognoni addressed the hair color on Twitter. It seems like she chose not to go completely red because Michelle wasn't very red when she left.

@ginatognoni Was there any discussion of making your hair a little more red for the roll? Although Michelle's wasn't red when she left. #YR

.@sleeplesssue nice eye- exactly , going even more RED , tell me what you think in a month

Did they recast Fenn?

I caught up a few scenes with GT. I think she's playing up the dark angle of the character, but Phyllis used to be feisty and a lot of fun as well in her heyday. I remember when she met Isabella for the first time, she was half drunk I think, and she kept shaking her hand for 50 seconds much to Jack and Paul's disbelief LOL Ah, the good ole' days.

PS. that bland music on the show is a pain to my ears.

Max Ehrich has clearly worked to butch up, either for his role on Under the Dome where he sports that look, or for primetime and film in general. Fen still comes off pretty gay, though. But not as gay as Dad and Uncle Kevin.

Seriously, a clan of deeply sexually confused, dysfunctional gay and/or bisexual men would be a hell of a story. Bill Bell would do it, if Bill Bell had been born a few decades later. And you have Tracy Bregman playing Julianne Moore in Far from Heaven - who wouldn't watch that? Emmys all around!

This show is so boring. I don't know how people can get through an episode bc its such a chore. Its rough

What did Jack do to Ashly 2 years ago that has her pissed?

Did she take a scissor to her dress before she went out? Awful

IA that the actor playing Fenn looks good

The back and forth between Sharon and Phyllis getting ready for the wedding was perfect

Yep it was

and realistically her hair should be red as being in a coma, her roots would have long since grown out to their natural color

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
