Not a big shocker or really news but Frank Valentini with his girly blind item twitted a few minutes ago.....yes he will be playing Jason.

The interivews I've read that Fairman did with Billy Miller I didn't see anything that said he was a soap icon.

This is the only thing I found so far that compared BM to TL.

Miller might want the steady paycheck. Heck Justin Hartley is doing y and r now. Prime time is a tough biz unless u are Julianna Marguules or marg helgenberger or some huge prime time star u are competing against prime time heavy weights for roles. Prime time tv has a low success rate as 90 percent shows are cancelled after season 1.

Many big screen stars are now doing small screen Primetime work. Look at McConaughy and Harrelson on true detective. Neither are hurting for silver screen work yet they did this TV show on HBO. Miller didn't stand a chance.

Even Julia Roberts the biggest female movie star has stated she would be interested in doing a tv series. It's not even prime time it's movie stars now interested.

Right! He was doing so good. I'd rather heavily recurr on a primetime show and then hopefully get picked up for regular status for the following season like he did on Smallville.

Well, I like him and want to see what he brings to the table.

And how ugly he will surely be dressed...or undressed.

Hated him on All My Children though. I mean he was up there with Kamar de los Reyes, Cameron Mathison and Steve Burton as far as my least fave actors of that time period goes.

He was pretty fantastic on Young and the Restless however. Hopefully he can do it again.

I don't HATE him but he became so overbearing on Y&R it made me start to hate him. I am curious to see what he brings to GH but I'm not at all ready for another show eater when we have 60 other cast members on the canvas who also need to be written for. Look at Michelle Stafford? She's what, a month or two in and already on four days a week.

BM was probably board at Y&R with the b.m. they gave him to play. He's talented and fun to watch given the right material. We will see. Kudos to GH for beefing up their cast with Aplus actors when Sony is throwing them out left and right.
