KT didn't randomly make Britt viable as a character out of nothing. RC brought in other characters for her and started writing her as less abrasive and blaming Britt's problems on her parents.

The show brought the mudder down the line but initially Britt was a one-note meanie to make the swann princess look better. I feel that this was due to KT giving it her all which led to a contract. What happent after is squarely on RC'S SHOULDER BUT INITIALLY KT added just enough to what was on the script to turn what was likely a three months at most character.

Whether one feels like her current story is a white wash and a pity parthy or not is debatable of course but the role as initially created wasnt meant to live pass the initial Putrina angst. I truly believe that Kt played the character in such a way the writers opted to change their "vision" or rather lack thereof.
