JJ all moody and angry in jail and telling Jenn off was wonderful. Melissa Reeves was dreadful IMO. I didn't buy a thing Jenny was selling.

When are we going to see the new/old wardrobe folks? Seriously, Alison Sweeney looked like she rolled out of bed and threw her hair into a poneytail and then they shoved her in front of a camera.

This show can be so tight and focused and then such a mess.

Of course I don't really watch for a while (I've kept up, just been busy and overall not the most interested, TBH) and then see Roman's mumbling face ... oy

Oh, Kate/Jordan was alright. I want to like this, sort of, because of the actresses, but I just can't because it feels so been there/done that with Kate and this younger woman/man thing. I just don't see it going any other way than Kate doing something heinous yet totally gets away with it. I hope they do something different but I won't hold my breath, lol.

I love this show right how. Given how limited the budget is, I think Days is making the most of what they have in terms of cast and sets.

I actually feel a little bit bad for Kristen. She always gets so close to having what she wants and then she blows it apart. What she did to Eric was pretty evil though, so she's really going to deserve the fall this time.

Ej and Sami are constantly in bed together. I think their bedroom is one of the most used sets at this point. It wouldn't surprise me if Sami wound up pregnant again.

Why is the show trying to make us care about Bernardi's wife?

Sami was so adorable today asking where the Ejami portrait was.

Did Nicole really think she was going to be invited to the Ejami engagement party?

Is macadamia Marge really going to off herself at the party?? Why do I feel like she's really going to go through with it and Sami and E.J. will end up adopting her little boy. Okay, maybe that's pushing it, but that's just where my mind went. With so much talk about cast members leaving, I feel like *someone* is gonna catch a bullet come Monday at 1:05pm.

This show is really entertaining. I'm genuinely interested in what's going on with everybody.

Ugh, I forgot that Nicole was going to name her kid Danny Rafael. Thank god that didn't happen.

Were Will and Sonny at the party? I didn't see them. Did they explain that? I probably wasn't paying attention.

Ditto glad we never saw Daniel lol. I loathe the character, but there are too many other things I love on this show to let that get me down (at the moment). I guess it is also easier to handle when his screen time with Jen is more limited as the last couple of weeks have been - when that changes, I'll be more indignant again lol.

Friday was an old-school DAYS party throwback. Was so awesome to see a lot of the characters interacting together. I think it was the first time Jordan has been in scenes with that many people lol.

Marge is annoying me.

Thinking back, Kristen spent a lot of time excessively watching her home porn a few months back. I wonder if she got her editor lady friend to create 2 videos: one where it appears like consensual sex between Eric and Kristen and another with Nicole superimposed onto Kristen, and not so consensual looking. Anyone else think that when Eric fiiiiinally watches the video, he will see Nicole instead of Kristen? I mean, we all know he will think he had sex with Nicole, I am talking more about how he comes to the initial realization.

I loved this exchange - he even called her "Queen of the night" - nostalgic throwback. Was not loving Marlena's dress though - it made her look flat chested, chunky and the dress itself looks like it is back-to-front.

Amazing week in Salem this past week..

1) Best performance of the week without a doubt goes to Casey Moss! This whole storyline deserves an A+. The scenes between JJ and Adrienne and then Kayla were awesome build-up and then JJ going crazy in HTS and in Salem PD were fantastic! I love the use of the show's history as well as using both vets and newbies in this storyline! It's classic soap!

2) Loving the cast integration. It has been AMAZING to see so many cast members together at the engagement party.. I know Days can't afford to have a huge event like this all the time, but I think it's working out well to have a large event a few times per year (like with Nick/Gabi wedding in January, the hostage stuff in May, and now this) Love seeing so much of the cast together. And I love the interaction: great cast integration this week between Stefano/Caroline, Roman/Sami, Nicole/Marlena, Will/Marlena, Kirsten/Marlena.... can I say it was phenomenal seeing Marlena so much this week!!!

3) I feel the show has had some elements of suspense lately and I really like it.. Nicole interviewing applicants for the job (and the camera not showing the woman's face for a while), Rafe's arrival at the engagement party, everything with Marge, etc..

4) I really have been appreciating the sets/set decoration/lighting lately. Days has been doing well with this IMO. I think Salem needs to be night-time at least 50% of the time, because it looks so good at night!! But even the sets (DiMera bedroom, Will/Sonny's apartment) look good and even the temp. sets (like Marge Bernardi's home set) looks like it was actually thought out and not just some cheap set thrown together.. I think the show just looks good

5) Having just complimented the set design... my one nit-pick (as has previously been harped on already haha) As soon as Jordan mentioned to Rafe about going to the Physical Therapy room, I was like "yup.. here's comes the blue room again." And I was right.. Who would have thought that the blue room could also be the PT room!

I'm just going to comment on this before I forget. LMAO at the slow-mo shooting sequence with the blood squirting on the cake. WTF?

Do NOT miss today's show. It's riveting and chock full of unintentional comedy. Chad's weak ass "I've just been shot" face, Stefano's face as he tries to lunge at Marge, E.J.'s face when he stops himself from pistol whipping her, then Dr. Cameron looking up medical matters on Ewe Search with that stupid ass icon, Sami telling Stefano, "Why don't you go down to the mens room and take a look in the damn mirror", and now Stefano's about to have an Erica Kane in the hospital chapel... oh man, this show is the best. SO CLOSE with the flash drive too, and of course goody-goody Father Eric doesn't just click on it when Dr. Jonas leaves. I felt oddly satisfied when Kristen ate Nicole's olive because that's exactly what I wanted to do.

Knew he was leaving, but didn't expect it to be so soon and quite like this. I liked Chad.

I cringed today, it was so bad.

Stefano looked like his adult diaper split loose and it wasn't empty when he looked at Marge.

And that Marge doesn't stop whining. Why didn't she shoot Sami and EJ instead of whining? EJ should of pistol whipped her just to make her shut up.

Abby telling her mom that Chad popped her cherry - like now is a good time to tell her that!

Nicole/Kristen were good, but it's really the same dialogue over and over - getting bored of this holding pattern.

Ciara was great though "It will be almost as nice as the last time you and daddy got married" said so normally and matter-of-fact and we wonder why she is so creepy lol

If Chad lives, hope he adjusts to being in love with Daniel now.

Bad script from Richard Culliton, even worse from whoever directed it.

You are so right, I was also wondering why the hell Abby felt the need to tell her mom that she lost her virginity to Chad at all let alone right then and there.

That was so nuts with E.J. challenging Marge with the gun pressed to his chest. Adrenaline and stupidity I suppose. She had ample opportunity to shoot E.J. and Sami both.

And lol at Kristen getting all high and mighty, bitching out Sami for calling Jen instead of her about Chad, when the moment she hears her brother was shot she says, "Oh my God, what happened to E.J.!?"
