May 10, 201313 yr Member thats one of my soap pet peeves. I hate when characters randomly appear on the middle of an episode. I prefer when all stories for that day are set up in the first segment and it feels choppy when a different angle is introduced midway through I think we'll see it a lot more on both OLTL and AMC, partly due to the way they filmed--at least I've noticed it more recently.
May 10, 201313 yr Member Didn't Harding Lemay write in Eight Years in Another World how he would devote each act of an episode to one story or group of characters in particular in order to keep viewers wondering whether their favorites would appear that day? Edited May 10, 201313 yr by Khan
May 10, 201313 yr Member I like the contrast between how Jack and Dani both dealt with Todd today. It's very much in keeping with their attitudes toward him on ABC as well. Dani hates Todd when it's convenient. And it's a shallow "hate". To her, it's not a big deal, not a priority, which is why she accepted his money today. ITA. Todd's odd/strung out behavior (due to whatever Victor is drugging him with) had me wondering what if they had him & Dani end up doing drugs together! That would be so f'd up.
May 10, 201313 yr Member and if that happened, Dorian would somehow find a way to own Llanfair again and evict her. Actually might be worth exploring! Didn't Dorian do that once already? I really enjoyed today's episode--I don't have much to say (though it seemed odd that Tea acted like she hadn't noticed that big ass tattoo before,) but very solid.

May 10, 201313 yr Member Speaking of Jack...I don't know why but him being such a serious gamer and taking a documentary film class kind of surprises me. I don't know why...it just does. I guess after him bullying Shane for being into drawing/superheroes and the like...it just seems a little odd to me

This is not a new development
May 10, 201313 yr Member that he'd be into videogames? Jack was always into videogames. This is not a new development i knew that, but not this much... but the documentary film class, that's a new one... I guess TR and SBH want to write him not so much of a jock, like RC did

I don't think that Jack was ever portrayed as a jock. Are you projecting? Jack was just a bad ass kid that hung with other bad ass kids and did bad things.
May 10, 201313 yr Member Jock? I don't think that Jack was ever portrayed as a jock. Are you projecting? Jack was just a bad ass kid that hung with other bad ass kids and did bad things. they put emphasis on him being on the varsity soccer team... well by badass, well yeah he is a badass, he's Todd's son, Lord heir
May 10, 201313 yr Member I think we can all agree this is a kinder, gentler Jack we're seeing onscreen.
May 10, 201313 yr Member I agree. I see them developing his character as more than a plot device. I see a difference from just the episode today. I think it's the most he's been featured.

I think we can all agree this is a kinder, gentler Jack we're seeing onscreen. yeah, but he still has some of the Jack from when he was on ABC, but a more subdued and not OTT
May 10, 201313 yr Member I think all he needs now is a solid teen crowd to surround him. Bring back Max's kids as schemers...and age Jess's daughter Bree. Maybe a nice bf for him as well...

Max' kids if we follow Soras would be older than Jack. Maybe Zane can come back. One Gripe Dani & Matt say they knew Jeffrey in London However, Matt was only there a few weeks max & his roommate's name was Tom played by Daniel Manche & white Edited May 10, 201313 yr by John
