Members ajsp35801 Posted January 11, 2013 Members Share Posted January 11, 2013 July 4, 1992...I was 14 years old and ran 5 blocks in less than 5 minutes to watch Y&R...preview had Neil shirtless and throwing Dru in the Newman pool...no way was I going to miss that. That was the ONLY day during the summer (during school times I taped CBS soaps with a VCR), that I didn't stand in front of the TV and slip from CBS soaps during commercials to ABC soaps...and it was a manual turn knob so I couldn't sit down...I stood there for 3 hours everyday (I only watched GH and not GL so no turning necesary after OLTL and ATWT).
