September 1, 201213 yr Member You know, the concept behind "Dead Man's Hand" was intriguing. As usual, though, Guza's execution did just that: it executed it. It executed the [!@#$%^&*] out of it. For the most part, I agree.
September 1, 201213 yr Member I hate the way Valentini is having this show edited. Choppy and totally adds to the already emotionless writing.

I hate his editing, hate the all over the place lighting, hate him rewriting crap that was bad when Guza wrote it the first time, I hate the dialogue, and he gives the actors directions different from the director on top of this crap!
September 1, 201213 yr Member Where on earth does DAYS air the same time as GH? Days is on at 1PM EST. GH will be on at 2PM EST. I would atleast think in Central time that DAYS would be on at Noon and GH would be on at 1. Time Zones are freaking stupid. ha. I live in Northern Illinois and DAYS and GH will be on at the same time. I think it has been 10 plus years since DAYS aired at noon around here.
September 1, 201213 yr Member I forgot to mention but Molly and TJ talking about how they never made love before. What teens use the phrase "make love"? I can understand Molly as she's a hopeless romantic, but TJ? I guess thats better than had he been Marcus on B&B, as his dialogue would have said "I aint ever hit that, dawg"
September 1, 201213 yr Member I HATE soaps' overuse of "make love." It makes "sleep with" tolerable. There is nothing wrong with just saying SEX! lol

September 1, 201213 yr Member I'm 23, and I think hearing it so much on daytime influenced me! LOL But yeah, I could see older married couples using it, but teens or early 20s not so much, particularly for ONSes (I'm not speaking from experience here, as I haven't actually dated yet, LOL). Kelly Ripa jokes tha Mark speaks "fluent soap" as he learned English watching them and he still says "make love". Of course, I'm more inclined to say, "We did it", which I'm sure some people would take issue with...

Hell when I was 14/15 even though my friend watched novelas she though "making love" was soemthing different from sex and I had to explain it to her!

I loved Twin Peaks rendition, where instead of people saying "make love to" it was always "make love with." It always caught me off guard.
