Who knows what went down...but Dame Joan is NOT in the upcoming season. And neither is Cheyenne Jackson. In fact, many of the AHS regulars are not in it...so I think I'll be giving it a pass this year.

That said...boo. I'm a horror fan and I must admit that with so many regulars bailing out, I am disinterested.

 

 

 

Watched the first two episodes of AHS 1984. It's has impressive 1980's aesthetics. Covering for a paper thin story.  The amazing Angelica Ross's talents are being wasted in this mess. AHS has always been a mixed bag. Some seasons are great, good, mediocre or bad. 

It’s been quiet here most of this season, have you guys tapped out of AHS? I must say I’ve actually been enjoying this season.

I actually have enjoyed the absurdity of this season as well. And finally some more familiar faces have shown up.

Lily Rabe was a good surprise. I feel like she’s highly underrated and underused on this show. And I’m loving the recent scenes with Angelica Ross and Emma Roberts together, an unlikely duo I enjoy.

Oh I've been loving this season too.  The first 5-6 episodes were actually scary and realistic.  It then got a little supernatural like most seasons get, but I'm still enjoying it.  Love seeing the familiar faces pop up again too.

This season has kinda been meh for me.  The first half of the season was told literally in the dark that you could barely make out what was going on. Overall, it seemed like they were just winging it, storywise. The whole story arc has been kinda flimsy. Still, it ranks higher than "Hotel," which IMO was the all-time worst.  

I have to disagree with you there. I enjoyed Hotel. For me the worst will always be the atrocity that was the awful circus season. Maybe that's why I liked Hotel, because it came right after so my expectations were never lower.

God Hotel was AWFUL. Anytime I see praise for Hotel or Gaga’s terrible acting I roll my eyes so far in the back of my head, I fear they may get stuck.

Has there been any speculation about the next season's theme? Supposedly there was a big hint in last week's episode.
