Who knows what went down...but Dame Joan is NOT in the upcoming season. And neither is Cheyenne Jackson. In fact, many of the AHS regulars are not in it...so I think I'll be giving it a pass this year.

Who I swear has an undiagnosed case of ADHD. He's not quite at Aaron Spelling levels of oversaturation, but how many times have we heard about some high profile project with a far too qualified cast?

I think most actors who sign onto a Ryan Murphy project do so because being on a Ryan Murphy project still carries some cache in Hollywood (if nowhere else).  The industry has yet to catch onto the fact that Murphy is a weak storyteller with very questionable tastes.

 

Watching the first season of "Popular" way the hell back in the 1600's taught me to steer clear of anything that has his name attached.

I haven't read the full rundown of the cast but it seems a lot of this year's cast is more of the newer, younger actors that have come into the AHS franchise in recent years. I mean shoot, even Sarah Paulson isn't in this one.

Sarah Paulson will have a limited role.

He's the white Shonda Rhimes. Her stuff turns to sh!t quickly too!  

Honestly I'm not surprised Joan Collins isn't in this season. They're doing a slasher season so it's not surprising that the cast is younger. I'm okay with that and excited for this actually. I've been wanting them to do a slasher season. I just wonder how convoluted it will get, considering this is AHS.
