OLTL was #2 in total viewers on Friday, beating everyone except Y&R and was ahead of GH by almost 450,000 viewers. That's a LOT. There were a few weeks OLTL would best GH by a few thousand, but not this much. Considering in most most OLTL falls between AMC and GH, to be the #1 of the 3 is quite a feat... I think some of the increase can be attributed to RH's return on Friday and the build up to then. They haven't done much with it so we'll see if the uptick can be sustained. I think the show has been pretty good lately (not much James/Starr thankfully!) and have been enjoying it. Clearly they canceled OLTL prematurely... but oh well. Members MichaelGL Posted May 20, 2011 Members Share Posted May 20, 2011 Maybe it's just my opinion, that no matter what mediocre or crappy storytelling we as OLTL viewers endure for most of the year, you can mostly count on the show garnering a good amount of viewers for a major event.
