Its a real pity Dru's daughter is given such victimizing material.

Only Sheffer could write that!

I think the show is at least somewhat watchable, tolerable in some aspects. This isn't like last year or 2009 but you I currently have zero expectations for the show and really don't care for anyone on the show except Nikki, Jill, Diane, as well as Neil/Leslie.

I know. It was camptastic. Back in the day, Brenda could actually act. But not in the 80s! I love her Jill, though. She is such a Joan Collins-wannabe, a glamorous sex kitten and that drives Kay NUTS. Plus the way the scene itself plays out gave me goosebumps -- the way Kay said "GOODBYE, tramp!" was borderline psychotic.

Well, after yesterday's episode, it is clear what is going on re: Lily and Cane. Y&R sure had me fooled for a moment there, what with Colin walking in with GhostCane standing right there and Colin being all "Who are you talking to? There is nobody here." Later, when Neil shows up, GhostCane disappears. The first hint that something wasn't kosher.

Daniel Goddard's ability to ooze false sincerity and saccharine sliminess is being put to good use. There was a point yesterday where I thought "Wow, I guess even ghosts get horny." Even though this is FauxCane, in a weird way I always suspected that RealCane was exactly like this person: a coward, liar and con artist -- his whole demeanour always smacked of insincerity and opportunism.

Thank you for a great laugh.

To Mr. Pual Raven- It's not being easily pleaed. Y&R has been dreadful for weeks on end before sweeps. Y&R has been must see for me since the week before sweeps. I am really enjoyng this new Ashely plot. And Diane and Adam. Things look promising. I have been hard on MAB, but when it's good I'll call it out just like the bad. I am just thankful i am able enoying my favorite show. After watching two years of crappy stories Y&R has been really good for me at least any way. I hope She keeps it up

MAB if you read this, I guve you an A for May sweeps. Good job

Well it's certainly not the same Y&R I don't like the characters I loved for such a long time at all now. I like Diane, and I like Abby. I either hate, dislike, or don't care one way or the other for many others. I do like Ashley's story, I will always have a sick addiction to the Nikki, Victor beat as long as it is not overdone with Nicki being abused by Victor (relatively speaking). Nick bores me to death now, Phyllis needs a life, Katherine has become so annoying, where in the world is Jill, Sharon's nothing past a slut to me, I oddly still like Jack because they can't do nothing worse to make him anymore Pathetic (I think Bergman is underrated in how many times he saves the character here) and he maintains a sense of humor about (again Bergman), Sophia is ok, yay Traci! Adam's still a jerk but his brother Nick serves less of a purpose, Victoria can't even focus on looking as presentable as Victoria nowadays I don't know that character, ugggggh @ Billy Miller as Billy Abbot, I like that Michael's back to supporting but ease him out of Victor's backside a bit, I still like Lauren (somehow I think of it as all the idiotic things tht happened to the character is not the character's fault), Oh and poor KSJ/ Neil (nothing new). Don't think I care about any of the others

Anasatia the town gossip? She related to Shanice? LOL
    • I had to rewind and listen over and over, but it was something about "the color of your money". Anyone else pick up on it? Oh I guess I could try my closed captions later. Derek's legs spread open with those bare thick thighs... goodness!

    • Ugh, that's just a shame to hear about Bridget/Lucy and David. Not even going to their wedding is awful. I'm not there yet in my watch, but I'll be disappointed with that. And if Nick/Susan are now already gone too, which I'm assuming they are because they're no longer in the end credits, then who even is at this wedding besides family? I hate to hear that about 1997. Btw, I'm happy to hear we're pretty close in our viewing timeline

That comment Amanda makes is weird, but maybe if she's just talking about herself, I'd understand. But otherwise, makes no sense considering the Buzz/Alan rivalry over Reva, Lucy/A-M being a couple and the interaction A-M has with the Coopers throughout and vice versa, Frank/A-M's past.  I can't speak to Harley because I haven't seen her yet, but surely in her years in SF, she had a past with some Spaulding family member haha. That's a shame about Alan not having a reaction to Abby. I was wondering for months now if Abby would ever get back into Reva and Alan's orbit now that everyone is back in SF and away from Goshen, and wouldn't you know it, just last week in March/April 1996, Abby visited both Reva and Alan separately (Alan just gave Abby a job at Spaulding Enterprises). It was so nice to see they both still really cared about Abby, but said to hear that wanes going forward.  Alan just sucks - the most selfish/hateful/arrogant character - so I guess I can't be surprised. He barely tolerates Alex these days, and I guess he's back in A-M's good graces post-Marian. Otherwise, no one else in town likes him now that Reva dumped him. Great observation on the Marcus stuff, and having just seen it, you're right!  The storyline really wasn't about him once he was put in jail, it was really about introducing Griffin (whom I do not like at all), Roger who framed Marcus and accelerating his storyline with Dinah, and putting the pieces together with Marian being the real killer. Marcus is rarely seen while in jail, as your character count proves. I didn't even think about the age different between Marcus and Dahlia, but you're right - yikes. I was actually already getting worried about Rick/Abby's age differences, because Abby's mother told a doctor she was 22 years old, but then Rick said 18 a week later and she hangs out with Michelle and the other high school-aged people, so which is it? But I'd assume Rick is what, in his mid/late-30s? So that pairing I was already starting to question with age difference.  I'll miss Bryan, as he's grown on me while he ages over the last year.  Ahh good to know - RME   Oh this is great, thanks for sharing!!!  Glad to see she's still with us and out there doing work she loves.

    • I'm surprised Philip hasn't teamed up with Shawn-D to steal the potion, they seem to have forgotten that they grew up together
    • @MaximJust read that originally this was written to be an Ariana Grande solo!!!
