It does seem very random. I hope someone who is brave enough to sit through 2005 AMC can tell us for sure.

Aww, I loved 2005! P I just went through a handful of episodes throughout that year and never saw his name listed in the credits, so who knows.

But gosh - great memories flooded back from that year! The Di/Dixie storyline had me ENGAGED, and I just saw the episode around Christmas where Di visits Dixie and we see her alive!

Edmund's funeral, Ethan Cambias, Jonathan/Erin/Ryan drama, JR/Babe, Julia was back... now I want to re-watch that year all over again haha.

I watched off and on in '05 but I didn't pay attention to those director credits at the time, nor would I have known his name back then. I feel like some of the more obsessive AMC scholars among us who could still stomach watching in that period would know. @EricMontreal22 maybe? I know Winther pre-dates Darn. Apologies to anyone I don't recall. I watched a lot of AMC from '93 on but my research into its vintage years is not nearly as in depth as the time I've put in on OLTL and GH.

There are a number of good moments, I just didn't know if people would want to go through all the episodes looking for credits.

Winther came back to direct a handful of episodes in 1996, possibly even just one episode. I'm pretty sure those were his last AMC credits.
