December 10, 201015 yr Member "Slap me twice & I will kick your ass Marty!" I cant beleive Marty would try to slap apregnant woman AGAIN. WTH is wrong with this woman. Its wrong on so many levels. As for Nat catching her and saying that line, its very reminiscent of Luna catching Blair in a slap and hitting her back, saying something similar Day 2 of the Ford Boxing training Edited December 10, 201015 yr by Cheap21
December 10, 201015 yr Member If they're gonna insist on keeping the Matthew character around, I wish they would finally recast him. If I have to look at /listen to that tall 7th grader try to act like a vicious Donald Trump on the Apprentice one more time... You are insane (Wait for them to recast him with a Ford lookalike who's an even worse actor...)
December 10, 201015 yr Member You are insane (Wait for them to recast him with a Ford lookalike who's an even worse actor...) They would just kill Matthew off. I thought Eddie Alderson did fine until they gave him unplayable material to prop Danielle and Nate. Jerry ver Dorn is one of the best and most underrated actors in daytime, and even he seems flummoxed by what he has to play now.

If I have to look at /listen to that tall 7th grader try to act like a vicious Donald Trump on the Apprentice one more time... Oh I can't agree with this at all! I think Eddie Alderson has rose to every occasion and is blossoming into a delightful actor. He's also grown into a very attractive young man. I'll take his Matthew over any of those Ford brothers. Since returning to OLTL I can't understand any of them. I don't think they can act nor do I find them to be interesting or good looking. Just generic Disney-esque twinks. I will say that Inez is growing on me the more I see of her. Matthew and Clint really are making this show for me. They're both so dark and it seems like a throwback to old school soap storytelling. I hope it doesn't go too far so both can remain this way (and on the canvas) for a long time. I think Clint will has potential to be even more delicious after people know about his shift in character. Only problem is that Ron Carlivati has that Maria Arena Bell problem of going too far when he sees a good thing. Hopefully he holds back. This entire group with Bo, Nora and Inez thrown in is very entertaining. Four or five years ago I never would've guessed Hilary B. Smith would have a storyline again. I'm waiting on ABC.com for thursday and friday, but so far this week has been good. LOVE this paternity headache with Natalie and Jessica. So with this test switching do we have any idea who is the father of either baby? Is it possible Clint made a mistake in switching their tests as well? And where is Jessica? It seems like I haven't seen her since I started watching again.
December 10, 201015 yr Member It occurred to me that the Ford brothers are nothing but the male version of the O'Neill sisters from years past. Bobby as Didi, James as Connie, and Nate as Joy. Even mama Inez is daddy Harry O'Neill. The gender roles have simply been reversed.
December 10, 201015 yr Administrator Matthew/Clint/Inez/Bo/Nora/Eddie has been really fun to watch. What was up with the extreme close up of Nora's boobs? LOL Nice shot, Larry Carpenter.

I'd guess Bree had her baby in real life around this time and is on maternity leave.

Eddie Alderson I think is a really good actor and I hope I don't get in trouble for saying this but his sister is not that good at all, she should take lessons from her brother. We have no idea but I am 99.9% sure Vimal switched Natalie's test not Jessica's, making John and Brody the dad's and Jessica's portrayer is on maternity leave she should be back in a week or so

December 10, 201015 yr Member UGGGH *why* is Shipp making these acting decisions??? he played a creep, misogynistic, rapist on AMC/Loving in the early 90s and didn't approach it this way. Is it Valentini or Carlivati who insist all their psychos be as broad and cartoony as possible (certainly that's how the last few "psychos du jour" have been played)?
December 11, 201015 yr Member Shipp's acting is like he's a male Brenda Dickson on steroids. Deliberately over the top and not very good at all. Clint is going to have a lot of being angry at him with the truth comes out. Natalie was good again today, I liked how she grabbed Marty to stop her from hitting her.
December 11, 201015 yr Member Clint is going to have a lot of being angry at him with the truth comes out. Almost all of Llanview. Viki, Nora, Dorian, David, Brody, Rex, Gigi, Charlie, Echo, Matthew, Joey, Bo, John, Natalie, Jessica, Ford, Inez & Roxy. For starters. And that's not even counting peripheral characters to the Eddie/Baby Switch debacle like Todd, Tea, Nate, Dani, James, Starr, Langston, Blair & Kelly. The only ones that won't have reason to be angry with Clint are Cris, Marty, Destiny & Aubrey. Edited December 11, 201015 yr by DeeeDee
