Looking back the baby switch and puzzle story lines comes off as karma. At least Stephanie Forrester managed to size up the Lauren character over the whole Eric mess. 

 

 

I think that’s it, it wasn’t about who’s “bad or good” in regards to Lauren vs Sheila or Sheila vs Stephanie...It was karma for all the misery Lauren and Stephanie inflicted...and Sheila was that karma!

I don't recall Lauren cheating on Scott during their marriage.  I thought the affair with Brad happened after they were separated?  It's the classic "Friends-we-were-on-a-break" excuse.

 

Also, fidelity aside, I think it is clear who was the villain once Sheila infamously called Lauren to have a playdate and then taunted her with, "oh that's right, I forgot, your baby is dead."

Sheila most certainly is the villain, no doubt. In the Oct '92 episode though, Lauren is kissing on Paul during her wedding to Scott, which I presume is only to retain custody of Scott Jr. Plus she pretty much bullied Tracy for years. (All this aside I enjoy  the character of Lauren though)

OH MY GOD PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE THESE EPISODES!

I have been waiting years to see an episode with the characters of Ron and Nancy Becker. I read Ron was a very troubled and sleazy character. Dick DeCoit who played Ron is still acting (mostly stage work). I saw a comedy sketch featuring him a few years ago on youtube. I think I read Ron's mother was played by Carolyn Conwell who of course came back in 1980 to play Mary Williams.

Funny you say that, I swear I heard Mary Williams was on y&r before her debuts as Paul's mother. Didn't she play a stripper on the show or something I don't remember where I heard this info

I think you have Carolyn Conwell mixed up w/ Joy Garrett. 

 

Joy's character Boobsie was a stripper or prostitute that was involved w/ Douglas.

I read that Cynthia Eilbacher played a role on the show before she came back as April Stevens.

 

Rod Arrants was on as Katherine's stable boy she slept with in the early 70's before he came back as Dr. Steven Lassiter in the 80's.

 

Quinn Redeker played Nikki's father Nick Reed in 1979 before returning as Rex Sterling in the 80's. 

 

Grant Kramer who played psycho Shaun that buried Lauren alive in the 80's came back in a short term role in the 90's as a potential love interest for Ashley that quickly got scrapped.

 

Kin Shriner appeared in a short term role in the 70's before landing GH in 1977. He returned years later as a fill in for Ted Shackelford and in the role of Harrison Bartlett. I would love to one day see those clips because for some reason I can't picture her playing a prostitute, I guess it's because seeing her in the role of Mary for Soo long u just don't see any other side of her then that field
