Brandi's "bombshell" about what Denise said about Teddi was such a non-factor. Does Denise have an issue with Teddi? No. Does Denise have certain opinions about Teddi? Yes.  We can all have our opinions about our friends and their actions, but not have a specific "issue" with them. And as you said... Teddi being boring and desperate to be in the circle is as well known as Mauricio's infidelity.

Loved the Sutton/Garcelle lunch too. At first I thought they were going to make a stink about Garcelle asking Sutton how she became wealthy, but it was all light and good. Garcelle keeps it real and tries to get to know people below the surface fluff that these BH women are so accustomed to.

Twitter has figured out that the Denise sit down was likely filmed after the trip to Rome. Teddi posted wearing the outfit from the sit down on December 2nd. The sit down was November 17 allegedly, but they were at BravoCon then...

I loved that moment of lightness. At first Sutton was taken aback, but then her eyes lit up and you could tell she was loving the back-and-forth and the teasing. Given that the coven drone on about each other's outfits ad nauseum, this must have been one conversation Sutton actually secretly enjoyed. After all, it was clear Garcelle was curious and wanted to get to know her better. And that's a compliment!

It made me wish we had more Sutton footage on the show. I recall early on this season Sutton bursting into tears as they drive to Teddi's retreat (I feel ya Sutton), simply out of nervous tension. She was already picking up on the attack-dog energy of the group and it was making her anxious. It kind of endeared me to her.

I enjoyed Garcelle and Sutton.
This seasons story is worse than last years puppy gate. The best they could dig up is a Denise and Brandi hook up?

If we've learned one thing about Denise Richards it is that she has an exaggerated need for privacy which why I question Brandi's story about her initiating their first kiss in a restaurant bathroom.  Given the other woman's responses, it was not common knowledge that Brandi identifies as bisexual,  Brandi was admittedly drunk, and they were among friends.  So, not only could their tete-a-tete have been witnessed by others in the bathroom, Denise also had no idea how Brandi would have respond, or if she would immediately tell their mutual friend.  Thus, the story strains credulity.

LOL...I cant with these drunk bitches. Sonja and Leah dancing on the table acting a fool at Ramona's party will go down as an iconic moment in housewives history

NYC was really good last night, because it finally featured some sobering storyline moments - Luann with the former convicts - Leah and her sister - etc.  I thought Ramona totally overreacted, which just fueled Sonja/Leah to act the way they did.  I thought Sonja was disrespectful from the jump though - I get her issues, but do it on another night that isn't Ramona's birthday party.

Finally watching BH - I think I believe most of what Brandi said, but I think it's real f'ed up of her to throw Denise under the bus like that.  She clearly is selfish and took the opportunity to be a big figure on this season over keeping her friendship with Denise.  I do think she was likely coaxed by the producers, Kim and Kyle to do it though.  She's not a good friend to choose airtime over friendship.

The way they were acting in the OC was beyond cavalier.

Of course, it’s terrible for Shannon and her daughters and I wish them all a speedy recovery, but with the behaviour the OC women were flaunting, they had it coming.

These shows should not be filming. If it is not safe enough to film a reunion in a studio they should not be proceeding in the middle of a pandemic in states like California and Texas that are Covid-19 hotspots.

Sonja smashing that mirror with her feet was beyond reality tv. It was performance art.

I can't help but enjoy what Leah is bringing to the show. Yes, she is thirsty and sloppy as hell, and I really did NOT need to see multiple closeups of her crotch rubbing up against Luann. However, she is unsettling Ramona and bringing drama.

And for a party Ramona spent weeks planning and talking about, that was pretty cheap and basic-looking. When those old biddies all started dancing, though, I was

+1 to all of this. What a great episode.

I actually liked the Dorinda/Sonja scene at Romana's party where Dorinda was getting Sonja to admit how much stress she's under.

I did too. Both Dorinda and Luann were there for her even during non filmed/used excursions. They want her to move on without that house weighing her down.

Just going through the ratings threads on Reddit: Demos for BH and NY have taken some hits this season (while the original Below Deck has moved past BH to become the No. 3 Bravo series and the BD: Mediterranean series has actually slightly grown its audience to become a stronger No. 2 behind ATL). NY has fallen behind NJ.

    • Ted also stays at the hotel and Vernon is probably aware of that. As much as Ted wants to be back in Nicole's good graces he might feel obligated to tell if he saw Vernon coming out of a woman's room since keeping secrets got him in so much trouble before.
    • One more thing on Tuesday's episode, did anyone else notice the weird blocking? Belle and Eric were thanking Sarah, and worrying about Lyme Disease (which must be a red herring, I can't believe we're watching a PSA about inspecting for tics).  Then, Belle turned to EJ and threatened him with a lawsuit.  EJ acted as if he hadn't heard the entire conversation that was happening two inches away from him.   I like EJ, but a little of silly/mean EJ goes a long way.  His sarcasm during that scene felt out of place, regardless of Eric's presence.  When he bugs his eyes, and feigns innocence, it is a little too OTT for my taste.  I understand that he was the punching bag for most scenes, but EJ feels more mature than resorting to funny faces.  Isn't rather quick to worry about Stephanie's sales, she just debuted the book yesterday in their timeline?  And why is everyone against Jada and Theo?  Jada could use a boytoy, and this doesn't feel like a "forever" romance.
    • I dont think he knew Leslie was staying there. I know this is all for the drama and mess which Im here for, but Vernon really could have easily rented a small studio space where he and Sharon could practice lol.
    • I understand that no one could ever replace Bernau, but Ron Raines is somewhat of a different beast. Still great (to me) though. He spent his entire TV run in one role, that was impossible to do justice correctly.
    • Again, Bernau's illness impacted that. It's pretty obvious Pilon was always meant to be temporary. I read an article from that period that said he was working on both Ryan's Hope and GL at the same time. So he wasn't on contract for either show. (Maybe that explains somewhat why his performance was so low energy, because he was overworked doing two soaps). Later, they put him in the opening and in commercials for the show. That must have been because they were certain Bernau was not returning. Around that time, they approached Zaslow about being the permanent replacement for Bernau. He turned them down and suggested coming back as Roger. Pilon stayed so they could re-introduce Roger and write an exit for Alan. I'm guessing if MZ had not wanted to come back, they would have had no choice but to keep Pilon (which I don't think they wanted, or maybe Pilon wasn't interested) or send out a casting call for a new Alan. I think they wanted to avoid that because they were really determined not to let the nature of Bernau's illness to become public knowledge. At this point, they were still keepin up the fiction that he was going to return even while this stuff was happening BTS.   Yeah, it seems crazy now, but people forget how stigmatized AIDS was back then. I'm convinced the idea to ask Zaslow to take the role came about so they could replace Bernau as quietly as possible. Everyone would have been so surprised it would have taken the focus off Bernau not returning. It makes a kind of twisted sense. Still, thank goodness Zazlow said no and they said yes to his suggestion to return as Roger. The way everything worked out gave GL a few more strong years. I guess it's the nature of soaps, you never know what things in real life will end up strongly impacting the show, both negatively and positively. (Something just occurred to me. If Zazlow HAD said yes to playing Alan...he would have had to play being in love with Reva.

    • I truly do not understand why this has not happened. It's so un-Carly-like not have confronted Joss already.
    • He definitely had it going on back in the day
    • I have long given up on logic and Mayor Laura Collins! It makes about as much sense as Luke being elected mayor over Lee Baldwin in the 80’s, maybe even less sense. She committed manslaughter as a teenager, was involved with a mobster (I guess credit for them taking Smith down), had a shoot out in her home and killed another mobster in self defense, thought she bludgeoned her stepfather to death, then was catatonic for years. Her current husband had a twin that was a serial killer, had his own breakdown that threatened lives, and most recently hid his brother for treatment and that allowed Ryan to escape and kill again. And had hook killer Esme as a houseguest and is raising her child. I don’t care for Sonny anymore but their relationship is just another thing that involves suspension of belief to watch the show. I wish someone on this show would remind these adults that they used to pull way worse stuff than this! I would love a scene where Laura is sitting with Lulu and tells her while she is not happy this is nothing compared to what she got up to when she was young, and maybe even some understanding that she would also do stupid stuff if she believed in the cause. Olivia reminding Dante that he was wild as a teen and this isn’t that. Felicia reminding Anna that they were being shot at when pretty close to Emma’s age. These characterizations are just so basic. Have some fun with the actual history of the show. That kind of wink would mean more to me than just name dropping some random fact.
