Not interested in the other girl, but FINALLY a black housewife! I've always loved Garcelle as an actress. She has a class and glamour that I hope translates to her real life. Also interesting that she is still a working actress with legit roles not D list like Rinna or Richards who people try to act like are a big deal.

I find it so telling that Bravo announced this before filming began. That's how the overseas HWs shows do, but Bravo usually waits til the last minute to confirm anything. I think this is to combat the negative press of LVP leaving and Teddi returning.

Dorit will be the first and Kyle will be the second. Dorit will probably drone on about Garcelle picking the wrong utensil to eat caviar or something. Kyle will revert to default victim mode about Garcelle being 'intimidating' when she calls Kyle out on her sneaky ways.

Judging by her official statement,  Garcelle seems like a firecracker and I am HERE for it. I've seen her in a few movies, she is stunning and has definite chops. Someone like her is long overdue on BH. I hope she cracks that Kyle-Rinna-Erika vipers' nest wide open. No pressure, Garcelle! Lol.

Here's the new fabulous Dallas intro for those who cannot see it: Yaaass! Dallas better come through with this new intro!

Garcelle better come for the crown! That's all I know! And I am so not here for Rinna's friend. Meh. I am glad to hear that Erika possibly got downgraded to friend. Good. Her ass brings NOTHING to the show.

Camille dropped some more nuggets about her status too and it being Kyle's show now. Ugh...

This would have been so awesome for me given that Garcelle for the last few seasons have been popping up on SYFY's THE MAGICIANS as Our Lady Underground (aka Peresphone of Greek mythology), but given how Season 4...well...lol. She was great on here, but the character of Julia on that show was one of my favorite and her Season 3 arc (which Garcelle's character was part of) was a great one.

Anyway...I had no plans to watch RHoBH even though my theory for keeping everyone post-LVP has always been that with her gone is when the REAL fun would begin. Why? Because those ladies would deal with the aftermath by turning on each other. And that would just #karma. Now...? I admit to being torn. Though with these additions could what one of you posted above be true...that they are on as Team Lipsa and to take Kyle down? A boy can wish...lol.

YAAASSS!!! ALL OF THE BOLD!!! LOL!!!

LeeAnne had leaked on Twitter that it was coming out today...so happy she was right!!!! I've been cyberstalking Twitter all weekend for it.

AND I LIVE!!! That was a great intro. I wasn't sure before I watched if I would like the tagline, but you know what? I think I like all of them (even Brandi's and I LOOOOOOOATHE Brandi). I suspect that Kameron and Stephanie are going to be bringing it this season and that's why they are center...and I'm here for it after their taglines. Get it, Kameron. Gather Brandi all the way together.

I was just about tag you @NothinButAttitude lol. Did you see what AndyC posted about Garcelle from 2010. Perfect for a potential housewife. I guess we know she ain't going to stand for the bs. LOL!!!

See? I think I'm going to go and rewatch the trailer. All I've seen lately has been the promo where Kameron gets into it with Brandi and toss that thing in Brandi's face and Brandi's makes a show of climbing over the table like she is actually going to do something.

ETA: Yeahhh...I don't see it. I think Stephanie will be at the center of something. But a rivalry...I will have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, Kameron (like Contessa of the upcoming season of M2M) looks like she will the center of ALL of the drama.

    • If you ever make it to the Paley Center in NYC (fka Museum of TV and Radio), in their viewing room, you can watch Days 1/1/73 featuring Denise Alexander as Susan. It’s her last month on the show before switching to GH.
    • Overall I was impressed with this week and fall out from the revealation.  I am looking forward to seeing the Nicole/Dana showdown next week.  I do wonder if June is going to be tied to Hayley.
    • I thought Adam and Sara got married? Although I do not remember any mention of her when Adam returned for Blake's weddings. But MA certainly got the short end of the stick storywise, as Marland's obsession with therapy reared it's head.
    • Didn’t Meg Bennett return to SFT as a writer in the last few years. I always wondered if they tried to get her back as Liza.
    • Millette Alexander got the short end of the stick once they killed off Joe. The Justin thing was a non-starter. Then she was briefly married to Alan's corrupt lawyer and HE was killed off. She was paired briefly with Adam and that ended because she believed Holly over Roger about the rape. Definitely, Marland had zero interest in her except as the therapist for the many, many of his female characters who needed therapy. It's not odd she left the show. One of the rare 1978 episodes on YT shows Alan going to Cedars for a physical check-up. He ends up with Sarah as his doctor. In between making mysoginistic comments about women doctors, he also openly flirts with her. It's very obvious they were chem testing Sarah and Alan. It's a really good scene. Bernau is both obnoxious and charming and Millette is amazing, trying to be pleasant and profesional without rolling her eyes at him, but at the same time maybe a LITTLE bit attracted to him. An interesting what-might-have-been. So it appears the Dobsons were actively looking for someone to pair her with, they just never found the right one for a long-term story.
    • I'm happy to read whatever you provide, @Paul Raven.

You've inspired me to add my 2 cents about this product placement debacle.  I absolutely HATE the way they are doing product placement in BTG. I really hope this doesn't catch on or evolve into more and more of these moments. It's incredibly off-putting to place them in a highly dramatic moment where we are still on the emotional journey with the character. What is next - Dani spraying the house while having a nervous breakdown? It makes me not want to buy the product they're selling. LOL. That's just me.
    • I always get the vibe that Martin/Smitty have an emotional abusive relationship set up... but I doubt the show will really go there with that element given that Martin is a Dupree (and we can't have the Duprees be portrayed in a negative light), and because it's a gay male relationship.   Even though abuse in the physical or emotional sense is a huge thing in a lot of gay and lesbian relationships. The Ashley/Naomi scene reads off to me for one reason....  Ashley was talking about the new scandal without any sort of mention and/or subtext.. considering she knew both Silk Press Sheila and Eva.  I'm not sure if the writers have forgotten, if Jen Jacobs isn't able to play subtext, or what.   It's just apparent the writers do not know how to write a young white millennial couple.. and perhaps they need to get a younger white script writer to be on staff... or let the actors play around with the lines to make them more natural/realistic.
