I can see that. I was rewatching the end (oh, THAT'S why Denise married him hehe, but I digress) and Garcelle was so giving off OC Season 9 Lizzie vibes. Remember Lizzie sat back and observed everything around her, figured out it was Tamra who was the potstirrer, and then exposed her in Bali. And Garcelle was definitely side-eyeing Kyle in those minutes while Denise was defending herself.

Last paragraph. So we might get that 'catfight' between the conspirators after all?

Garcelle has definitely done her homework. She had a comfort level around the women that suggested she was already familiar with them. She made inroads with Erika right away (smart -- Erika is the Alpha dog). Blind Mary from Little House on the Prairie can see that Kyle is untrustworthy. Moreover, Brandi has been shouting from her podcast for +2 years that she and Kyle are 'friends again' (lol, when were they friends the first time??), so Garcelle may have connected the dots there.

No catfight just yet (otherwise we would have seen it in the trailer). They desperately want to paint this picture of female friendship now that Mistress of All Evil LVP has left the series. Wonder if that holds until reunion!

Lol I just remember 'And ah wear the crown with priiiiide' when Denise did her sly little smile at the end.

Garcelle lived through Models Inc., including one of the hookiest bulimia storylines on television. Why should this show be an issue for her?

Kenya v. Nene needs to cease after this season. It is tired and old at this point. Fight it out the reunion and then Bravo needs to force them to let that sh-t die afterward.

Porsha worrying about Shamea/Kenya's relationship is odd. Isn't Shamea the same friend that you cast aside for Phaedra? Yeah... Porsha is a big a** flip-flopper.

Kandi is better than me b/c I would've tossed Nene and Kenya out the baby shower.

If the current "six-some" is the future for the foreseeable future, we need 2 new, young housewives to add them and add new flavor to the cast. No Sheree. No Kim. No Phaedra.

Nene is a bitch. After going a whole season saying she doesnt talk about people's kids and denied calling Brooklynn, a buffalo, she insinuates that BK isnt Kenya's daughter. What kind of disgusting mess was that? I hope Kenya roasts her good for that mess.

@NothinButAttitude I was feeling Porsha at the beginning of the season but over her now as well. She hasnt changed much. Even as she tried to go in about Kenya she was getting her facts wrong.

Unless something changes...Reunion films THURSDAY.

Sad it's online.

What you said about Porsha. To think that I liked her. I was rooting for her.  Now after tonight so far...ugh. And she calls Cynthia a flip flopper?!?

BH

That reminds me...I forgot to mention...

Apparently Sutton vs Teddi starts in Episode 3. Something a podcast backs up of a producer discussing the show. Up until then, the girls were still in their LVP pact and being nice, but once Sutton mentions how boring Teddi is and how 'are we being honest?' (not to mention apparently the producers DID mention that they better bring it now that LVP was gone) is when they turn on each other or start to turn on each other.

PS. Sutton v Teddi was filmed 2 months into filming so I believe the producers saying that they in fact were boring after LVP left.

Yes they mostly have cut the first two months of filming. Episode 2 is the opening of Sutton's shop and we don't know if they'll cut Eileen's movie premiere and Sutton's birthday party which both happened before her shop opening. It looks like this has worked out for them to get the drama going sooner, but I do wonder if we will miss out on some good stuff to help establish the storylines.

Also on the subject of Kyle/Garcelle, I think yall are right about Garcelle potentially side-eyeing Kyle over her glee with this Denise story. It's clear Garcelle did her research (hence knowing about Dorit and the dog drama) so she knows how these ladies work. I think with someone like Garcelle around it'll be more difficult for Kyle and Rinna to stir up drama and everybody gives them a pass. Then with Erika being friends with Garcelle that isn't going to help Kyle and Rinna. I see them taking a lot of heat come reunion time.

BH: It's a shame that Sutton's divorce meant she couldn't show her kids so that some of her stuff had to be removed. If I could stomach the rest of the women, I might watch for Sutton and Garcelle but I don't care one iota about them. RHOBH needs to clean house in front of and behind the cameras. When you're depending on one story (and a story brought by a "friend of") to make a season, you're in trouble. Did they learn nothing from Puppygate? If you filmed that long, and only have your big story at the end of filming, you need to make big changes.

ATL: It's time to get rid of Nene. Nene is such dead weight on that show, and when Nene leaves, Marlo will have to forge other alliances if she wants to stay on the show which she clearly does. Yet again, Marlo had to start conflict because no one else wanted to. It was a Tamraesque move in its desperation. I have never liked Porsha, and I'm stunned that so many fans forgive her for accusing Kandi of rape. Boggles my mind.

NY: I always found Dorinda hateful and vicious. I hope this season is her comeuppance. It must get bad as Sonja is already doing damage control for Dorinda.

I rarely have both loved and hated a housewife as much as I do Dorinda. That’s an accomplishment. She’s hilarious and intelligent but incredibly damaged and tragic.

The texts don't confirm what Kenya said, they from 2 months b4 Shamea gave birth and are about pregnancy discharge not about her water breaking b4 she gave birth!  Shamea was talkin bout the day she gave birth, Kenya said Shamea texted her when she thought her  water broke, then threw shade at Porsha for not being around, that was a lie or Kenya is mixed up with her facts (on purpose lol).  Its not above Kenya, she threw shade at her BFF and called another woman a c word lol. The only thing Porsha got wrong was the "call" aspect of the story!

No she didnt. She said that Porsha was at work which gave her a valid excuse for not being contacted. She did not insinuate that Porsha was a bad friend. There was no shade thrown at her. Porsha was repeating all the stuff wrong and people are buying into her story

    • How did you guess that! Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees. Anita was serving "solo artist" realness the whole time. Stole the show.

"Grief, mental illness... and a handjob." Let's get done with the hardcore drama first... before we continue with the lighter stuff. Bo's condition worsened after the hot psychiatrist gave the risky idea to SHOW him Sarah's body. Dr. Jonas is triggering these people into catastrophes every day. It's almost like he gets pleasure out of this. Well... they did show him Sarah and the result was BAD. Bo went into a crazy meltdown, locked himself with the corpse... and started putting blankets on her to warm her up. Disturbing scene... yet powerful work from Robert S. Woods. Bo's resolve came at the end of December 7th's episode when he let Viki come inside and talk to him. I've chosen this as the clip of the day - anyone who ever underestimates or puts down soap actors, just because they are working in a soap... should see this. And then we'll talk. Very powerful.  Viki did what she does best - performed a miracle almost, getting Bo to open up and let the family in. And after that... everyone was looking at her like she is God. The children... Clint himself... everyone standing by the door expecting "savior Viki" to continue being the mother figure they desperately need. But Viki is also a woman. Woman, whose heart is no longer in that house with Clint... She wants to be with Sloan so bad... she has started looking at her husband in a different, colder way. He even came to her bedroom in his robe, probably expecting Viki to invite him in... but he got a chilly response.  Alongside Bo's terrifying breakdown... there were some grim events unfolding at Asa's house as well. Dorian and Blair's fighting made Addie become aggressive towards Asa of all people. She attempted to stab him with a pair of scissors. Asa then finally said "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!". It's either the baby or your sick mother. She must make a choice. What he doesn't realize... is that there is no baby. When he decided to contact Blair's doctor to inquire about her pregnancy... she knew she had to act FAST - likely fake a miscarriage. Jesus Christ, Blair!  This leads me to the storyline that consistently disappoints and undermines the overall mood of the show. Just picture having these intense storylines - involving... family, breakups, betrayal, grief, mental illness, and manipulation... and then suddenly, you see Alex giving Mortimer a handjob in the Buchanan Palace restaurant amidst all these other powerful scenes. Some might argue that this is precisely why such moments are there - to dilute the drama and darkness... but the result is far from enjoyable. It turns the entire show into a circus. You can't expect me to be emotional in one scene and then witness Alex reaching into Mortimer's pants... without cringing. It's a bit too abrupt... too early. It ruins everything and makes me despise... despise the characters involved. It's pathetic.    Overall -  6.5/10 - it would be a perfect 10 if you removed Alex and Mortimer. But I can't do that and I've decided it's enough giving them (the writers) slack about this. It's annoying, not funny and needs to end. If this was Bold... I would have been tearing them to pieces... but just because they've given me so much good material... I've forgiven idiocy time and time again. I have nothing against handjobs (quite the contrary actually), but I can't see them in the midst of a man crying over a corpse and a mentally ill woman attacking someone with scissors.    Clip of the day Viki consoles grieving Bo.

    • And every show she leaves is so unstable it takes years to recover, if it recovers at all. Objectively I can say she has a good eye for the look of the shows she is producing, and she knows how to film drama and strive for good acting. I don’t really fault her casting when it comes to new talent, her FOJ’s sometimes fit and sometimes don't though. She also interferes with writers to the detriment of her shows, favors problematic men’s egos on set and gives way less respect to women performers. Her work is often thematically very dark, and misogynistic. Something happened to her a year or so into Guiding Light. The show starts to come unraveled, she basically forced out the writing team that had been bringing the show success. She starts manipulating things like focus groups to get what she wants, and starts building the shows around the men (Buzz as example) and weak women (Lucy). She took over OLTL and tried to fully direct the writing while producing the show. On GH her instincts were so disastrous that they forced Guza/Pratt on her and gave them Associate Producer titles for more money and some agency in the story. And even then, it took until the Brenda return to fully save her ass. And on top of that she is majorly responsible for the show losing Sarah Brown, Amber Tamblyn, Genie Francis, and not securing Vanessa for a longer stay. And now that we know Guza didn’t want to kill Alan off, her fingerprints are all over that one IMO. The only thing I respect about her outside some casting that Mark Teschner brought to her is that she recognized Erika Slezak was too important at OLTL and still too vital to put out to pasture as only the mother of Joey, Jessica, and Kevin, and hand wringing sister of Todd. Emmy’s aren’t everything. Y&R had been number one for decades and truthfully should have been dethroned multiple times but habit and name recogniztion count for something.
    • Meg Bennett wrote for Y&R while appearing as Julia.
    • Everytime Liam appears on Screen I’m like: oh wait.. hey. It’s Liam. He’s still there?“ Like i don‘t know what it is but I always forget that he’s still around lol
    • Heather is a director AND writer at B&B, both in an irregular capacity.   Lawrence St. Victor is part of B&B's writing team for several years now.
