Oh wow that was much better. Who wrote it? Julie Berman killed it. I've never liked her before this pairing with Dante. Good actress, but they couldn't get a handle on that character. Wow. Now she's killing it. Not understanding Sonny still. Even though Dante is a cop, he didn't do anything to deserve being shot. It was a pure revenge killing. After Dante died another cop would've arrested him for Claudia's murder. Killing him only satisfied his need for revenge. Why won't somebody say that and let it soak in?

Oh wow. Sonny tells Steven he'll kill him if he can't save his sons life. Why can't they have Steven tell Sonny that his son wouldn't be dying if he didn't shoot him? What's up with that? Considering his sharp tongue with Patrick I doubt he'd just walk by and say nothing. AND WHY IS SONNY STILL AT THE HOSPITAL?!?! He shot a cop! Why hasn't he been arrested?!?! Why are all of his grieving victims being forced to deal with him there?! Ridiculous!

I could not agree more with every line you wrote. Sonny shoots a police officer and then threatens a doctor's life if he can't fix a gun shot wound delivered at point blank range. Is this supposed to make Sonny look like some big bad? To me it just makes him look

like a bully and a fool. Someone lock him up and throw away the key.

I thought that's what he got arrested for -- shooting Dante?

His arrest was a great scene, and I loved how Jason, Michael and Olivia didn't even put up a fight and beg the police to release him because "he's a good father."

For crissakes, Tyler! What will it take for your ass to ACT?

I think that ratings will bump up. The demos will move a smidgen. It got equal promotion as the Franco stuff, but the audience was less invested there. I'm sure there were lots of people waiting for Sonny to learn the truth and having him shoot Dante was very sensational sweeps stunt. Remember we had that discussion about the GH audience liking the mob violence, shooting, and guns. I think that we will see this in the ratings.

Unfortunately, not even with the gun on him can Sonny get arrested for a crime that he committed. I'm sure that Sonny is getting off the hook for shooting Dante who will be his best bud in a few months.

Nikolas looked a tad concerned about Lulu, not much, but he tried there.

Yeah, when he sat with her in the hospital room, I guess. But when he tried to out-do Sonny by semi-threatening Stephen, I thought he was going to tumble into a coma mid-sentence.

Which is why I'm going to treasure Dante's last speech to Sonny before he got shot -- and the way DZ spat the words out in intense disgust. For me, this was second only to Alexis's speech at Kristina's funeral.

    • Assuming that Marland had been allowed to write the Carrie story the way he'd envisioned, Millette would've been involved in the story. And she might've played a role in Andy Norris' return (if the speculation on that had ever materialized, and Marland loved bringing back bad boys) But he doesn't seem interested in Sara's personal life. And the women of Springfield could only be analyzed so much.
    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
