If anything this could have been used for her miracle baby delusions. "I was able to have a child even after I battled cancer -- you can do the same, Lily." I just don't think they care about friendship or family. It's easier to isolate Ashley in her own bubble. Just as it's easier for Lauren to be nowhere when her close friend Paul goes through hell. But OF COURSE Olivia would be great...she had THE SAME cancer! ETA: If they can't afford Olivia, why even bring her back??? It's like laying out a treat and then pulling it away.
