Members robbwolff
This is first hand knowledge from someone who actually worked closely with cast members. A very reputable and honorable person. I have no reason to doubt him.
Members Bill Bauer
That's just embarrassing.
Members vetsoapfan
It was cringe-worthy. I am 100% confident that most knowledgeable fans of TGL from this very forum could out-perform Alan in these interviews.
Members Dan
He'd probably tell you that he was played by Robert Newman.
Members Soaplovers
Alan is what most soap viewers are like...liking the surface without remembering the history. His job was PR..making crap look good.
victoria foxton
He can easily Goggle stuff. Yet he doesn't bother.

Members KMan101
Just expect nothing from him in regards to these things. I have. It is what it is. Just let it go LOL Please register in order to view this content Trust me, I get it. But again, it is what it is. He worked there. He knows them as people, not always as their characters, etc. He worked in PR. Not everyone is crazy like us and knows every detail LOL Edited June 20, 2021 by KMan101

Members Asb23
Ooh, this I’ll like. Early 90’s GL was the best, IMO.
Members zanereed
@vetsoapfan, maybe you could answer this question regarding Kobe - I read on another forum or message board years ago that Kobe wanted to essentially recreate "Texas" once she was hired as EP of TGL. She hired previous "Texas" cast members, and apparently had some influence on getting Pam Long hired on TGL. Was there any truth to this? I've never had anyone actually confirm this, although someone may have previously commented on it in this thread and I missed it...?
