I am reading that as of Friday, 200,000 more Latinos participated in early voting than in 2012. Also, the turnout has been "explosive" in South and Central Florida where you have large numbers of Puerto Rican and other Latin American migrants in recent years. 24% of those early voters are first-time voters.

That same article cited a "surge" of Mexican-American voters as of Friday in Clark County, Nevada, so much so that the early voting hours had to be extended to 10pm, which caused an unfounded claim by Republicans that Democrats only extended the hours to all voters to be bused in from other areas but the pictures of people already waiting in long lines says differently.

Shameless. Put this out just when Trump needed the momentum and Republicans needed help keeping the Senate. Now deny days before, where it can easily be dismissed as some pressure move from the Clintons. I think Hillary win narrowly win and would have even without this latest clearing, but it means she's far more likely to have an extremist Congress making sure she can get nothing done. It's a great way to help this country burn. It's shameful.

So as of end of day yesterday, 2016 Early black voting in Florida surpassed Obama's numbers by around 35,000 votes. And that doesn't include today which was Souls to the Polls in Florida

So much for the black vote being down.

It's sad that Ari Berman along with people like Joy Reid, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O'Donnell are really the only people writing and talking about voter suppression this election.
