Weird that Obama is saying Republicans “will never stop” regarding healthcare when the Dems have moved from the ACA to single payer within a decade.

also weird that Obama is active at all since we didn’t hear a peep from George W. Bush during his presidency.

I am old enough to remember when Antonio Sabato Jr. was practically a god to gays. We fed his career and he knew it and catered to us. All it took was becoming a Republican to undo that.

the gay movement has just become something I can’t support. I will happily state I’m a gay man against what the gay movement has become. The gay movement are now the bullies. Shame on them. I’m not LGBTQ. I’m old fashioned gay. I am government stay out of sex gay.

Where did you get the memo that only gay men have anything to say about him? I may be wrong, but I think the person who posted about him was a woman (if I'm wrong, my apologies). Are you only happy to oppose gay men who don't like him? Do women get a pass?

And the thread was so focused until seven hours ago, now we are starting to have odd, rambling posts again.  Sigh.

If someone doesn't recognize the difference between the way Obama's legacy is being handled by his successor and the way Bush's legacy was handled by his successor then he is beyond hope.

Also, Antonio Sabato Jr. was always just a chiseled face and body.  I seriously doubt anyone looked at him for his thoughts and ideas on...anything.  He wasn't even a good actor.

Yeah, that Ignore feature really needs to become functional sometime soon so rambling posts can be skimmed over quicker.

    • I do agree that a revival of EON would work, if it doesn't fall into doing all of the typical soap opera tropes... which it became guilty of in the final few years of the show with the over abundance of Raven/Sky at the expense of the actual detectives, police, etc. And I know it was mentioned earlier that Raven had lost any true connections on the show with the death of her on screen mother, and the loss of April/Draper/Deborah.. and I do agree with that. I actually thought the show would have done something with the Shelley character that could have connected her to the Raven character.  There were a few scenes where the two would have scenes and size one another up before they would go their separate ways.. so I assumed perhaps they would have been revealed as half-siblings and/or perhaps cousins.  Alas.. not to be.
    • It definitely flowed beautifully. So much that I was annoyed when Vanessa/Doug because I wanted to get back to the party. I know it was intentional to build up tension and suspense. It worked. lol. I'm glad it was there in hingsight because it gave us that great conversation between Doug and Vanessa. Foreshadowing? And yesss!!! This episode was sooo old school soap giving beat after beat after beat leading up to the unveiling of Eva as Ted's daughter. And we still have plenty of fallout/aftereffects to work through.   Speaking of...Bill, Bill, Bill lol. Good to have confirmation HE was the scary lawyer.   I'm sure I will have a busy Monday, but I can't wait for it. I don't know what I'm looking forward to more. Probably Anita vs Silk Press Sheila tbh. And yes, I feel they will be matching each other 'blow for blow.'
    • And if they go there, it could also be tied to Johnny completely cutting him off, possibly going to work for Titan, etc.
    • @AbcNbc247 maybe it is just that they've gone to that well too often, and I don't like when DAYS goes dark, but I'm OK with EJ abusing drugs, and just skipping the whole sobriety part. Side note: experiencing hallucinations of my son killing me would be enough for me to never want to take a pill again.

    • Part of the reason that Courtney worked at OLTL was because the show had an actual character for her to play.  One that was somewhat different than her character on AW, and after the way she was treated over at AW.. it had to have been nice to be courted onto a new soap that actually valued your contributions.
    • I figured the "long" was already implied
