Trump is rising because people are tired of all this political correctness. Now we can't even say "anchor babies" even though that's what a lot of illegal immigrants are doing and have been doing for YEARS.

We can't call them illegal even though they broke the law. We can't talk about the fact that some of them do commit horrible crimes and that in a fair and just world that they should all be deported and we should fix our immigration system once and for all before we start letting people back in.

Oh well...I"m a Democrat to the day I die but if he somehow makes it out of the Republican side and the Media has achieved its goal of destroying Hillary Rodham Clinton leaving old tired a$$ Bernie or complete liability Joe BIden or worse boring O'Malley then I"m voting for Trump....screw it all.

It's time for something radically difference cuz clearly Washington DC and the status quo isn't working too well....

I'd say we shouldn't call them "anchor babies" because there's no real point in attacking a baby for something they have no control over. Not because of political correctness. Not to mention that many of the people pushing this term were "anchor babies" themselves.

I agree. "Anchor baby" is a slur created to de-legitimize and dismiss American citizens that they feel aren't fully human. Next up they'll be declaring them to be three-fifths of a person.

No ones attacking the babies but that is what they are. All people are attacking is the practice and the people who do it.

I don't agree that this isn't about attacking them as well. Do I think you're attacking them? No. Do I think that the people who push this stuff have an agenda to dehumanize all illegal immigrants (and many legal ones as well)? Yes. And that's what terms like that do.

It's not really a statement about them but about the parents who according to Trump come here two minutes prior to delivery and then say "My Son, The American".   I don't see how this qualifies as a slur, or even why using the term is controversial.   Is anyone denying this goes on?

Of course it's about them. It's about the idea that they are some type of secret weapon of wickedness of their parents. And yes it does go on, but absolutely nothing he or any other Republican is saying will help the situation, because it's all about macho posturing.

We still have months and months of politicians trying to come up with the most outrageous sound bites so they can be at the top of the news cast.  Ugh.  I'm ready to tune this [!@#$%^&*] out.

And it's too bad. I remember a time not too long ago when this country's canditates was above what I call "National Enquirer politics" and someone running a campaign like Trump would have been mocked at by EVERYONE.

The latest poll has that fool Trump pulling 30%!!  I'm amazed.  If there were a similar candidate running for the Dem nomination, they would be dead last.  There are stories of people chanting "white power" at his appearances!  I don't get it.

The thought of a true political outsider being the next president is interesting and even attractive.  But Trump is not the one.

The bottom line tho is that the Republican primary voters don't care. She could have lied about anything in that debate and two things would have occurred right after it:

1) The Media would universally declare that she "won" the debate. Even though she didn't say a single thing that was impressive or great. She didn't "shut down" Donald Trump in any shape or form. All she did was say that American women heard his comments...which was hardly a revelation.

2) The Republican voters were not going to care.

To be fair I have seen a lot of sites challenge her depiction of the events in the Planned Parenthood videos..

Its an absolute shame this conspiracy to make Carly relevant.
