Nope, sorry. Actually I think it would be a fabulous charity fundraiser to allow people to bid for a chance to put a foot in her ass. I'm willing to bet we'd raise the most money from her ex-coworkers and former ABC actors (I can think of a few by name).

After her comments during the aftermath of Jax's rape by Irina, I've had no use for her. Especially since she knew she was talking out of her ass due to the fact that she ended her ignorant ass statement with a disclaimer about how it's just her opinion and don't flame her and blah, blah, blah... Damn, if you're that worried about people forming a lynch mob about your precious little opinion... maybe you should just keep your mouth shut? But we all know how I feel about that, the whole "It's only my opinion, so keep your opinions about my opinions to yourself" crap.

QUOTE (Donna B @ Aug 7 2008, 07:35 PM)
However, I digress. She was in no particular network's pocket. She was in no particular show's pocket.

Then she certainly made it look as though she did.

I feel like I should write her another open letter.

I am so happy DonnaB is here, too! Yay!  :D As she noted correctly, I was a bit too ironic, but I'm seriously puzzled by this all-American thing. Yes, I know people in other countries like their veterans, too - but they wouldn't mind the killing off if it's done properly.

This is one of the reasons daytime has failed, this whole incessant insisting on vets. People focus more on whether Nikki is in the story than on whether the story is actually good

And P. S. yes, I detest Nikki, the screechy little hamster that pollutes my TV screen.

Woohoo!

Even if they don't rehire Mimi Torchin like they should, maybe now SOW will get an editor who writes real English, "dontcha" think? :P

I hated Hinsey because I found her opinions mostly stupid (she loved GH's Sonny and once called AMC's Ryan & Greenlee the show's money couple), and her overblown attitude came across as irritating in her columns.

I love this woman. I honestly do.

Me, Her, Julie Pinson, Rebecca Budig, Jackie Zeman, Maura West, and a few other amazing soap woman had a great disucssion at last years emmys. best converstaion of my life.

CH def was not who i expected her to be. She was nice, friendly, funny, and just kinda amazing. But then again i always have great luck with people who are deemed a bitch. so...

and meeting someone at a party and working for them. well very diff people a lot of the time.

    • She did have a thing with him in the late '90s, before she inexplicably disappeared with no mention as to why, although I can't remember if they had sex.
    • I don't believe she did. She did sleep with Simon, believing he was a Spaulding.
    • -- If I ever get sick, please don't send me to Garland Memorial. That hospital is a YIKES. -- Soooo much activity around the main nurses' desk. Do they move dead people on a gurney past that desk, too? -- 8 months for Bill to recover from a "small stroke"? Uh....I don't think so. Is anyone researching this stuff? The hospital stuff is not coming off as realistic. -- It's good that Derek and Ashley are being integrated into other stories, but it's a real stretch to say Leslie was "stalking" Ashley. It makes Derek seem dumber than we already think he is. -- Ashley spends a lot of time having small talk while she's at work. -- Chelsea is embarrassing. Period. -- Tomas is supposed to pick up the slack for Bill, but he has time to have worthless conversations with Leslie? OK then. -- Kat is destroying the case against Leslie, but that's clearly the way to keep Leslie on the canvas.
    • 6-3   I almost let my system just delete the episode just like with B&B. I am now questioning if I should have. lol.   I just can't believe that Cole sat there and started to get sick and then only Victoria off and ran off and everyone basically went back to what they were doing at Nikki's birthday party. Cole was too much of a vet character for that. And now story back off-screen.   I did chuckle at how much Victor pay Kyle dust. And now Kyle with this deal and a promise to leave town if he hurts Claire. smh. As if Victor isn't going to make that happen.   It was lovely to see Ashley. And actually (misdressed and all) Abby.    And I liked Claire's dress.
    • Oh. That. I pretend that never happened.

I did think of another possibility. Did India ever sleep with Alan? They kind of toyed with pairing them up, but I'm not sure they ever became lovers.
    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
