And how do you pronounce Cæsar in Norwegian?

  6. Thank you. I almost started watching, alwaysAMC and Cheap21 know how to intrigue. But I think I'll pass.
  7. Yeah, he's not very good at interviewing and doing his own show. It's all much better when he's a guest.
  8. 80s power ballads in the car. Which ones?! You and Cheap surprise me. I don't know how Cheap can listen to the depressing Adele in the car. It's a mood killer.
  9. Thank you, Antoyne. BTW, I just bumped onto Andy Cohen on Colbert – he plays Bethenny, Colbert is Kelly: <div style="background-color:#000000;width:520px;"><div style="padding:4px;"><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:cms:video:colbertnation.com:341503" width="512" height="288" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="." flashVars=""></embed></div></div>
  10. So, basically, Gretchen really did things Tamra accuses her of and Tamra is still a nasty b!tch faking her friendship with Vicki? Who else did Slade date?
  11. But this is an interesting 'admission'. I've always wondered how come people love something 'only when drunk'. Do they repress the love when sober because it's something to be ashamed of or something else?
  12. I said loves it this much. Not loves it.
  13. Well, nothing wrong with being niche. Everything is nichey, it's just the matter of size – how big that niche is. To quote The Financial Times, "Barry Manilow, the Mills and Boon of popular music" is niche, but he managed to endure all these years. If Britney is wise, and she did reinvent herself in a way, she may have the same fate. But good, if Y&RWorldTurner loves it this much, it shouldn't be bad at all.
  14. I haven't listened to this song in years. Eric says it's 'insincere'. Is it? I like the Woodruff's video, though I could do away with Tony & Orchestra in Concert. <object width= "425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyBEVP7NFY4&autoplay=0&rel=1&fs=1&color1=0xFFFFFF&color2=0xFFFFFF&border=0&loop=0"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyBEVP7NFY4&autoplay=0&rel=1&fs=1&color1=0xFFFFFF&color2=0xFFFFFF&border=0&loop=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyBEVP7NFY4&autoplay=0&rel=1&fs=1&color1=0xFFFFFF&color2=0xFFFFFF&border=0&loop=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="false" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
  15. Basically, niche-y? If, that is, she decides to take an interest in music again. That's kind of true. And yeah, no one really to compare her to.
  16. So this is a step toward her becoming irrelevant? That's if she ever was in some groundbreaking way or whatever? Or a low-level A / upper-level B star?
  17. Every four seconds, someone buys a Mills & Boon novel. Excerpt: "She unbuckled his belt and slid his trousers downward. He was wearing dark, grey boxers – his need for her instantly apparent." Um... WHAT?! LMAO.

I have a Silhouette Desire book about a twin who stands in for her sister at a political function and gets knocked up by one of her enemies. Fun stuff.

What I like about them is how, in a way, affirming they are. Feminists hate them, but they don't tell the wretched 'love' tales daytime does these days. Ultimately, it's clear: good wins, evil looses. One of the reasons people turn to them.

Yep it's while they're as popular as ever. You should see my bookcase LOL

  18. So all of you just abandoned this show?!
  19. There are reports that the album has been leaked.
  20. Apparently, the new Jane Eyre, by Cary Joji Fukunaga, is a success. Mia Wasikowska stars. OK, I'll go and see it, but can we please now stop with adapting the Brontë and Austen novels? Thanks.

To be fair, I don't think they've ever done a decent Jane Eyre, though I know fans of the 40s classic in particular will argue that, so I'm curious to see this...

I'd also like a decent Wuthering Heights that actually covered the second half of the books--as much as I do love the 30s version--and I guess the 70s miniseries has fans. (and the Ralph Fiennes version DOES cover some of the second half of the book but isn't very good)...

      But yes, no more ...

I understand all that, but also feel as if there's an adaptation of one of those books every two years. Same goes for Dickens. It's a bit too much for me.
