I am so happy you brought that up, AMS! Peggy certainily has no "the" in her vocabulary and it drives me batty. Thankfully, at present time, that has been done away with. But even still, it's weird for me to hear, Me instead of My. Grates on me, from time to time. LoL

At the end of episode eight, it seems Joe has gotten in a crash, is that what you're referring to, or are you talking about something that happens down the line?

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I've been watching these eps for months, but I've been going at them so slowly. But somehow, I'm on my fourth episode since last night. I might finish the first twenty by the end of the week.

But yeah, the no the's and no a's...they all do it, but Peggy just goes to town. I think I once heard Joe ask "Where's towel?" and they all say "...gone t' pub." It always sounds like they've given those objects names.

I like Andrew Burt quite a bit as Jack; he really hits the outsider role very well. The cast is very strong. Frazer Hines is a very underrated actor, to go from a role like Jamie McCrimmon to Joe Sugden. He doesn't look the age Joe was supposed to be (didn't they say Joe was like 18 or 19 or am I misremembering) but he still brings youthful energy to the role.

I love Annie, especially when she gives people what for, and I love her relationship with her father. She has to treat him as if he's one of her children, as he has that mischievous twinkle in his eye.

I'm catching up on some recent episodes and, while I really like Adam and it's great that a young man in this day and age can be so positive and lacking bitterness, I was annoyed when he kept going on at his father for the kiss with Eve. Yes it was wrong but John realized that immediately. He didn't exactly give her one in the Woolpack. I've known so many couples who have committed far more flagrant adulteries, and they would have probably ripped their child's head off if they had attitude like Adam was giving.

I haven't seen yesterday's show yet. Was Holly any less wooden than usual? I hope so, otherwise I wish they hadn't given her a major story.

Holly, maybe, slightly, improved. But nothing earth shattering, I'm afraid. Again I say, hopefully she'll overdose and that will be that.

Get her Viv!

OMG, Charity's actually alive! I have a gripe though. Why did they go out of their way of having them in the episode if they weren't going to be at The Dingle Dinner? Stuff like that infuriates me and this show does it ALL the time.

But again, please God, never take Charity away for that long again. I don't think I could bear it.

Thank you.   That was part of my reasoning as well. I think about the days of Kevin, Joey, and Jessica on OLTL or Lucky/Liz/Nik/Sarah/Emily on GH or the Last Blast Kids on DAYS or the Glow by Jabot kids, and it takes me back. Sure I started soaps due to the older cast with their divas, but I do like to see people around my age back then, too. Great memories.   So I love a good relatable teen tale. Bullying. Hormones for the Bad Boy. College choices and internal conflict.
    • Thank you for the information.  I did listen to the entire interview with Miss Roux -- way back when it was first released.  But I am unable to recall her mentioning Connie Ford, and don't have time nor effort to listen to the entire thing again, just for one small morsel. So again, thanks for responding.    I do recall Roux sounded extremely fragile and perhaps a bit wounded in the interview. I almost felt guilty for even listening to it.  So perhaps that has some influence on my reluctance to listen to it again.  She seemed troubled, to say the least.
    • Boxer-briefs, huh?   Well...called it on Cane/Giggly Heffa hooking up so not surprised.
    • Do you have Addie’s first air date??
    • Even now Victor is always so warm with Ashley. I liked their brief re-pairing as well.
    • @depboy Thanks. That does help. @titan1978 @Paul Raven Really enjoying the analysis of the production methods and what Monty was doing.  I wish we got some of those biopics here that a few UK soaps got as a biopic on Monty's first few years at GH would be fascinating.
    • The original 'mansion' was one of the set upgrades they did in 1980 . It was the Chandler residence. When that story fizzled out I think it became Stuart Whyland's house -not 100 on that. But it was revealed that Stuart was working for the Di Mera's (rewrite) so Stefano moved into that house. Mmmm...then it became Alex Marshall's? Neil and Liz lived there also. At some point it was finally replaced.
    •   Thanks. I'm glad she got to as I know some producers tend to get mad if actors want to direct.
    • I agree; I just wish we'd actually gotten a chance to see a modern Jack/Nikki pairing. It would have been my dream come true, especially since we got Ashley/Victor.
    • I don't remember that. What I recall is Alan living at Revabend, working as a farm hand and listening to Reva b!tch about money. Truly, I felt sorry for Pilon having to play that.
