I knew all the villains were on the chopping block, but I was surprised they removed them in the span of what, two episodes?

That's why I wonder if there was some re-writes. They dragged the story out for months and months, and then, like you said, they killed of the bad guys almost back-to-back. I'm not sure how far in advance they film but I don't think it's more than a month, so there could very well have been some pressure from above due to the unpopularity of the storyline.

LMAO why are they all speaking to Cain as if they already know his cancer is terminal?!

That's ridiculous. We all know we're never getting rid of him. 😒

I loved corriedale but I’m Not happy to See Graham! I was one of the small Fans that loved him and Joe back in the Day but with the current State they will just get wasted :(

Robert is getting on my nerves too

Was Joe always a villain or?

Yes.. But a good one and his motives made kinda Sense back then. He was more of a grey-charming kinda Villain not like Tom From last year, Lachlan, Meena or Cain Dingle lol

I did enjoy seeing Joe Back again but the behavior changed so drastically after his Engagement to Dawn to fit the Plot and Aaron/Robert- the Saints. I just wish they would ship Aaron and Robert Off.

Graham was exciting too and the Right Hand man of Joe back then. It was really a Fun time. 2017-2018 was a strong period.

Mid 2010‘s til the End of the 2010‘s was quite strong in my opinion. Like every Soap it had its flaws but Lachlan, Belle, Joe, Kim, Graham and a few others carried it hard

I realize that it will probably be tied into getting Victoria off-screen when Isabel goes on maternity leave, but I just don't understand why she had to lie about what happened between her and John. He was a murderous criminal on the run and she would have had no trouble getting off by claiming self-defense. He had killed with a syringe before after all....

Does Emmerdale bring back characters from the dead usually?

This is the first character to return where we saw a body, which is usually a no-go for British soaps.

Kim Tate was killed off in early 1997, via a car accident or something along those lines. No body was shown. When they asked Claire King several months later if she wanted to return, she agreed, and viewers found out that there was a Kim lookalike who died, and the real Kim returned to confront Frank Tate, who was responsible for much of her "death."

In 2015 there was a very pathetic stunt involving Ross Barton, where his brother Pete "killed" him during a brawl, buried him in leaves, and left him. Mike Parr recorded a farewell message, and we were all meant to believe he was dead. Very few believed this, and they were proven right when Ross returned weeks later, with vengeance in mind.
