can someone tell me? Does she have an actual story. The few times Ive seen her, she doesnt look like she fits in and it was painful watching her. I saw her hanging out with Jill and Katherine in their living room and she looked very out of place. Does she seem to have any direction or is she on the show just bc hte producers like her?

She does look out of place with Y&R royalty. But I must admit that I am enjoy the Amber/Lily bickering.

Just because LML likes her. I think the intention is that she'll eventually serve some purpose (it's all secretive), but until then, they don't seem to have any clue what to do with her in the meantime. It's like they're just trying to make her episode guarantees or something. I wish she'd just go back under whatever rock she crawled out of.

Add me to the list that thinks Amber is out of place at Y&R. I was wondering what her point was in being on Y&R? I like seeing her but she hasnt had much to do.

I know I sure have not seen the point of Amber yet, I say they either get to the point soon or ship her back to B&B where she is needed. I love Amber but if there is no point to her, then get rid of her, I can't stand pointless characters without a reason for being around.

Me too, she is another one that needs to bite the dust, she has been on what at least 4 months now and still no point to her yet. The only think I have come up with is that she is part of the horrible Brad Storyline, and I am not even sure about that anymore.

I am too but on the uphand, I can tolerate her much better than I can Amber. She is annoying the hell out of me. I don't see her serving an purpose other than annoying the hell out of me.

I've liked Amber so far on Y&R. She was pals with Sheila at one point, so I wonder if that's going to play into the reason Amber's around right now. Not sure, but I like Amber as a thorn in the side to Lily and Colleen.

She has no point, Cheap but to overfill the show with teen speak when Amber is at LEAST 26-27 years old. It is so ridiculous to hear all the over the top valley talk between her, Colleen and Lily that anyone over the age of 21 should want to bust their own eardrum.
