  1. Yes, they would have been much more worth watching. Tina Louise maybe.
  2. Yes, I felt the same way. I think the sister's could have switch roles tbh. Dylan Minnette's death really upset me, he was a fast favorite of mine.
  3. Nope, not at all. There is a lot to choose from, but how many of these shows are worth-while, or truly groundbreaking? I would say a small percentage. I can take or leave almost every show that's out on TV and streaming. A lot of these current shows also would be better serve as mini series than an full series. Dick Wolf shows are all successful, but unnecessary! They're all the same show with a different set of characters. The same goes for 50 Cent and his Power universe.
  4. Yes!!! I wish he got to play an older gay male on one of the soaps. !!!!! My Baby Daddy.
  5. @DramatistDreamer @Errol I appreciate both of you guy's post. Very insightful and accurate. I just hope the Hulu streams are enough to buy them another season. I believe ABC did repeat the show. a few times though. It is what it is..... Those FBI ratings are strong!
  6. @DramatistDreamer It's hard to say what happened, I personally feel it didn't catch an (live) audience for whatever reason. The ratings are actually on par with other black-led dramas today, so that's not even an excuse to cancel it imo. " All American " has only crossed a million views only a few times in its entire run, yet it stays on air and gets a spin off.
  7. Definitely Frons interference. Eatensten and Brown had a slow start, but things were looking up in 2008 before they got hit with the writers strike. once that was over they were fired! I always felt the storylines they were telling had a bigger purpose. May sweeps was so good, for about 3 weeks AMC was actually going places. Robert Reign of terror wasn't complete. Still so much story to tell there. I just always wanted a story about Tad doing something with his orsini money.
  8. Tim was a great choice to bring back! Definitely needed the same care and attention that they gave to Leo And Ryan. I have finally accepted the fact that AMC wasn't a show that cared too much about history. If it wasn't some silly trivia Tad the Cad mess or stuff with Erica they couldn't care any less. Lorie has to be my ultimate fave Y&R character. Yes, she needed to be recast. She was the show, and deserve to stick around along with Jill.
  9. Wendy Moniz (GL) as Kendal Hart on (All My Children) Greg Vaughan(Days) as Tim Dillon on All my children. AND Nene Leakes as Drucilla Winters (Y&R)
  10. Wendy Moniz (Guiding Light) would've been a knockout Kendall on All My Children. Laura Bonarrigo (One Life To Live) probably the best we could get for an Jenny recast on All My Children.
  11. @John Yes, Patty was one of many roles she was offered.
  12. Yes, Zahir had to play it safe. Overall I enjoyed this show. Rooting for them to return for another season. That's a wrap folks........
  13. And what confuses me is that's all he's being playing in the later part of his career "Playing Gay". Agreed, Al Corley was Steven, he gave a very soulful performance in his short time on the show.
  14. I did not know that! I like her talent, and really enjoy her in the little bit of what's available on Youtube. @Khan Yes, I did enjoy it! I still feel bad for Beth, that most have been hard for her to miss out on playing Liza only for them to recast 6 months later. And missing out on playing Patty on Y&R for AMC. I do agree with you and Vee that she should have kept her feelings to herself until she left the show. I guess You're right about Frankie. I wish they found something that worked for him. I didn't see much story for him in the same profession of his mother. He needed to be interested into things that had him in conflict with his parents, I would have loved for him to dislike cops or being a supporter of David's when Angie and Jake were beefing with him. He even could've got a job on New beginnings with his film making background! The problem the show had with Charlie Brent is the same problem they make with every MARTIN, they focus too much on them all being do-gooders and being Doctors (YAWN). The Martin's desperately needed a true bad seed. Frankie and Charlie suffered the same problems.
