You really believe that was the issue? It’s plenty of crap on television thriving in the ratings. Quality doesn’t translate into ratings in today’s climate.

@Vee You’re right, it does have a western feel to it. The earlier years are the best, and take a lot from the movies “Giant & Cat on a hot tin roof.” Pam is the star, of the miniseries, and I wish, it had stayed that way. I like JR, but after having all roads lead to him for so long it gets too repetitive! Lucy/Charlene best storyline is her romance with Mickey. I believe the show could have benefited from having Gary around longer, and it probably would’ve changed some things about the show! Miss Ellie and Sue Ellen are Queens, my main reason for watching as long as I did! I’m curious to see your feedback on Cliff, one of my favorites, but is like a caged bird imo. They never allowed him to upstaged JR. Anytime you though he did, you were wrong and I hated it. Unpopular Opinion: After the infamous “Who shot Jr?” Cliffhanger and reveal, I think the show quickly falls into a funk. It’s not one of my favorite seasons, and doesn’t have too much replay value to me.

I just watched my first episode of this show today! Don’t know too much about it, but Quinn and Sunny(I think) caught my attention. I may dig into the history and give it a chance.

The guy that host this soap podcast named The Chat, has said a few times HBO Max is actually working on it. I wish I could remember which episode it was…..

In my eyes, the ban isn't that serious. Will can still thrive around it, he doesn't need them imho. I know I'm in the minority, but, i don't believe the academy was planning to give him another Oscar regardless of the performance. This was most likely his career Oscar! Will will be fine. He Just needs to keep a low profile for awhile(which is something most do anyway after winning their first oscar.) He could slowly bounce back as a producer in maybe 3 yrs, and then hopefully as a Actor right after. @DramatistDreamer Bright was a great film. Definitely in his top 10 projects!

@Tonksadora By the time GL went off the air, i made a decision to DVR all the shows. I saw the writing on the wall and wanted to support them all before the end. I had this dope schedule of watching my fantastic four during the week, and the other 3 over the weekend. That saying "Once you fall out of the habit, it's hard to fall back in" is true. The last time i was invested into one of the soaps had to be 2015ish. It has truly been a struggle for me, i would watch one for maybe 3 days, and then go 3 months without it. I been getting my soap fix from the oldies on youtube, and streaming services. Daytime today just doesn't measure up imho! By the way, One Life is funny as [!@#$%^&*] while you're high. 🤣😂😭.
