  1. @Joseph Meaning, they kicked ass and deserved to sweep the Emmys that year. And the Academy agreed!
  2. Agreed. A lot of soaps could benefit from this. Families do move away, it's so much they can do with letting entire families leave town. Bill Bell was a genius for that, regardless of his reasoning. I like this a lot! That's definitely something that would excite me. We are >>><<< with this. I totally agree, the canvas should always remain a happy balance of core families and wanderers. Nicole is a great example btw! True.
  3. Cady and Julia Barr really put their foot into this storyline.
  4. That trailer was late i wasn't really amused.
  5. RHOA This latest episode was lowkey epic. I loved what Marlo did for Sheree, and loved everything about Sonya's dinner. The reunion is about to be bananas, Kandi just might be seated next to Andy!
  6. Dubai Nina Ali grew up watching All My Children.
  7. That Part! I couldn't have said it better.
  8. I have been patiently waiting for that Chicago/Illinois spinoff. Hoping and wishing that the blind items are true and it lives up to the hype! ATL There is many reasons for the shows falling ratings. The sign of the times (Streaming era), they were off the air much longer than usual, the first time it's aired during the spring/summer since like S2, major cast turnover, 3 fan groups have banded together against the network and are boycotting, with Kenya not playing the bad guy the show is lacking something IMO and isn't producing any water cooler moments!
  9. I'm curious if Kendall and Tad could have worked as a couple with Alicia Minshew.
  10. @Vee You're so right and spot on about Joe. I believe he fits into cast nicely, and really works best with Val, i hate it that he didn't last longer. I too, also enjoyed his interactions with Abby and Ginger. The writer's smartly continues to play Val and Gary beat all throughout. The heavy breathing and the longing stares etc. Season 4, is a very special year to me. I hold it close to my heart for many reasons. It's the season i have revisited the most! CiJi, Knots very own Laura Palmer, LBVS. She's a true superstar, full of charisma and bounce off the other characters in exciting ways. She pulled out different emotions from everyone and i love it! I loved watching the entire cast be on the make to a BIGGER/RICHER life! Interesting enough you spotlight Ciji's music overlapping with the main characters, i do remember a David Jacobs interview and he says using music was like his secret weapon, he didn't speak too much on it because he was fearful of giving away too many secrets.
  11. Yeah most viewers hated her. I thought she was very relatable and gave a real depiction of a teen girl. Claudia did a great job with her material, she reminds me of Claire from Six Feet Under. I liked Annie too. She definitely should have stayed around and created drama that first season. Yeah most viewers hated her. 12. Dubai Love it so far. Nice group of girls. Chanel and the Caroline's are my faves, Milan seems sweet.
  13. Don't worry it does. 'Night' & 'China Dolls' are probably still in my top 10 episodes. Me too!!! Season 4 is the season that hooked me. Ciji/Chip/Diana were a major part of that! I also always loved Claudia Lonow/Diana though. Pretty sure i was alone in that!
  14. True!!!!! Such a shame All My Children wasn't able to hold onto the #1 spot for a few years. I guess second best isn't too bad; but they were thee best Imo. Real trendsetter of the genre.
  15. Still early in my viewing, but Edge is becoming one of my favorite shows. I am obsessed!!!
  16. And i didn't miss her one bit!
  17. Nope not at all imo. Laura's journey wasn't just entertainment, it was super relatable and hits close to home for a lot of gay males. Loved season 5 Laura. It's probably her best season. I couldn't been any more happy watching her shine that year. I adored her romance with Greg; but was it a blessing or a curse? !!!! Loved her so much even with her minimal airtime.
  18. Me too. I am not a fan of Karen's friendship with Val or Laura. Like you said, it rings a bit false. Laura and Val seems more realistic and compatible. And i just didn't believe Karen ever cared much for Laura's feelings. @Vee I genuinely like her bond with Richard, i got a lot of love for him. But, the way Karen interacts with Laura always bothered me for some reason. And it gets worse in season 3 & 4, imo. And also, we are >>><<< regarding Dallas. The show is a fun enjoyable watch, but the storytelling is can be too "rinse and repeat" to truly touch me the in the way Knots does.
  19. @VeeGreat insights! I love your thoughts on Abby and Gary. Loved Laura and Richard, the most interesting couple of the early years, definitely my fave. John Pleshette gave one of the most fascinating male performances on this show, for sure! What are your thoughts on Richard's relationship with Karen? Ginger is a character, much more complex than she gets credit for. I think she could have survived longer, with a bit more attentive writing. I would have preferred Karen smothering her, over smothering Val, she stuns Valene's growth, IMO.
  20. He spoke with Esta/Gillian too!
