I believe there's way to still offer hope in doing them though. By the way they effect the people they leave behind. Soaps are always at their best when reflecting the real world and people die everyday, not just by natural causes in their sleep. Encourage that viewer that's been watching your show for 30 years that's struggling with losing a special love one.

RIP Ian. My condolences go out to Regina and her love ones. I can't help but always wonder why when someone commits suicide.

And I believe they're only doing 13 episodes.

They could find a nice balance for the pacing; but the fast pace is one of the things I liked about the show. I honestly care for a lot of the characters including Remy ma whose only been in 2 episodes. Idk if I agree about them burning through plots; most of the plots they started with are still lingering around i.e. Jill struggles with her sexuality and the church. I believe Eve going on leave made them change a few story directions.

Watching the last part of the reunion. I love this show lol. I dont find monique all that interesting to anchor a show.

It lacks something tbh. The story needed to include Silver Kane and make her a real threat.

I believe the show could still have its sense of humor. Its many different types of comedy so that would be no problem imo. I just think the show overall would have benefited from a more serious tone sometimes. I think maybe upping the gothic/hitchcockian feel to the show probably is the best way to flip the tone naturally. At times(for me), the show could be too light hearted that it lacks the “tune in tomorrow” nature most soaps need to survive imo.

She was my clear favorite in that miniseries. I truly loved her m, crazy how fast that changed and she started to get on my nerves. I still have a soft spot for her though.

He does them the best!!!!!! I wish more of the Eugene/Angie/Jesse/Yvonne storyline from AMC was out on YouTube.
