  1. It's a wrap for Joan on the set, production finishes next week, and she posted the following for her wrap picture:
  2. RHOP #boycottRHOP is currently trending on Twitter/X Good riddance to this season. It was truly a flop aside from the last 15 minutes of the finale, and the first 10 minutes of part 3 of the reunion...all of which concerned Mia and Gordon. Gordon's admission about bipolar disorder was brave and also make a lot of sense about what's happened to his life. How Mia handled it speaks to a character I haven't seen before...she's now less morally bankrupt and more morally a credit risk. Karen looks amazing and her facelift is incredible. Give Kiarna a flute of champagne. I am glad she said what she did about Ashley, she is the queen of the aftermath apology but has no problem instigating anything. They should fire Nneka and Wendy. They're both flops. Wendy has no storyline given her serial ventures while Nneka sat through this reunion like an audience member at an air show. It blew me away that Ashley got away with all the "Osu" crap that she started between them. Speaking of Ashley, she's evil, and I hope Michael doesn't bend in their divorce. She is so nasty and the way she tries to deflect responsibility is sickening. I kept hoping someone would snatch that Raquel Welch Collection wig off her head. Speaking of sickening, Gizelle's attitude about what Deborah did was so gross. It's clear that Candiace could never, ever, bridge the gap with Gizelle and I wager her exit was something agreed to with production. The problem is production chose the wrong HW. They should have fired Gizelle with her manufactured 'romance' with Summer House's Jason and the Lululemon ripoff, GnA. Ashley, Juan's Roommate, and Gizelle were trying to justify violence against Candiace however they could. I will miss Candiace's quick wit. I'm relieved that production decided to stop trying to make Charisse happen and they didn't bring her on in whatever ensemble she was able to scare up from Dress Barn. Andy being crowned Duke of Potomac...if ever there was someone who has no business running a reunion ever again, it's him.
  3. Very pleased for Shemar. He has had an incredibly productive relationship with CBS for 30 years. He is like a golden age Hollywood star whose whole career is tied to a single studio. I mentioned this a good while ago, but I fully expect to see Shemar be a part of the launch of The Gates, whether it's a crossover with Y&R or through S.W.A.T. - he is a company man who never forgets where he came from.
  4. The only thing that was good about the MP reboot in 2009 was Heather Locklear, Daphne Zuniga, Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro, so I can't fault anyone for wanting to do this MP as a sequel to the original series.
  5. I’ve been watching MSW again as it’s airing in reruns in Canada and those bookend episodes were very hard to get through. I skipped at least half of them. And there were far more than I remembered there being on first watch. It seems little is known about how those bookend episodes came to be. CBS and Angela didn’t get into a contract dispute so they must have been part of a contract extension when her initial one finished in the 1988/89 season.
  6. Very classy way to exit a longtime gig. That's one way of looking at it. The other way of looking at it is she's leaving a place she valued and doesn't want to burn a bridge. Despite it's creative malaise, B&B is still a success. George Cheeks' own words confirm that.
  7. Absolutely - I really hated that Gizelle still refuses to admit what she was implying about Candiace's husband. I don't blame Candiace for holding this particular grudge, but it sealed her fate on the show. Also: Karen's deep plane facelift looks amazing. Excellent work by whoever did it.
  8. The elegant, gracious, and beautiful actress Barbara Rush, who notably appeared the television adaptations of Peyton Place and Flamingo Road, has died at the age of 97. She was one of the old school classic Hollywood actresses who enjoyed their most notable exposure in the burgeoning medium of television. She enjoyed a varied career, appearing in game shows, many guest shots in memorable television series, won a Golden Globe, married and divorced the public relations tycoon Warren Cowan (the Cowan in Rogers & Cowan) and and remained active and well into her 90s. Fun bit of trivia: she lived in a beautiful home on Tropical Avenue in Beverly Hills and ended up next door neighbours with Justin Bieber.
  9. RHOP When Andy talked about setting an intention that the ladies make amends at this reunion was really a coded message: make amends or we're firing you. It's clear from this episode that Candiace and Gizelle are at an unforgivable impasse and clearly one of them had to go. The same can be said for Robyn who still doesn't get it. Ashley is a total bullshitter and I really want to see her get her comeuppance.
  10. Lu can move. That was fabulous. I would love for Lu and Sonja to appear in nuRHONY as Friends Of a la Marysol of Miami...the older women who have sage wisdom/drama.
  11. And in true David Beador and Shannon Storms Beador fashion he’s using Shannon’s DUI lawyer to defend him.
  12. Ah yes, I forgot to mention The Heifer In Heels...it seems her poor ankle/foot succumbed to the weight inflicted on her Payless pumps. That dress was positively heaving at its stitches.
  13. I can't disagree with this statement. While I find Mia morally bankrupt, she laid it all out there for the cameras and therefore is doing the job that Bravo is paying her to do. Robyn, on the other hand, has been concealing everything, and has done so for years. Robyn has never had a compelling storyline. She's skated for years and I hope these rumours are true and she's out. I think you're right and Keiarna will be the bridge between Wendy and Gizelle. The show had to know, after the reunion, that Candiace and Gizelle would never work out. I wonder if they're considering making an offer to Monique now that Candiace is out? I agree so much regarding Ashley. She is awful and such a producer's pet. The marriage stuff with Michael is so bizarre.
  14. I just find Mia so morally bankrupt that I can't root for her or enjoy her. She's an admitted ruthless opportunist.
  15. I saw a post about this - does this make any sense? This last season, while I didn't comment much on it, had my attention and the reunion was excellent. Bravo needs to retool RHOA and RHOBH stat - why they'd turn their minds to MIA is bizarre.
  16. BH Flopmarie has confirmed Bravo has told her she’s not coming back for another season.
  17. Hope Karen is alright. That said, TMZ is saying she’s been charged with DUI.
  18. RHOP Another dull episode with the only good part the last 6 minutes where a cameo from one of the Sesame Street cast members proved to be explosive. That woman is such trash. I'll also point out that heifer Charisse made yet another cameo, straining the stitches of whatever dress she found for herself from Dress Barn. Wendy's lame talk show storyline...nobody is asking for that show and whatever she spent on the pilot had better wind up being a good tax write off because she's flushed that money down the toilet otherwise. Gizelle and Ashley's clothing is absolutely hideous and will not generate a time in profit. The two least stylish cast members thinking they could break into the massively competitive athleisure space? Please. Candiace and the "I want a baby!" storyline...didn't we live through that last year or the year before? Am I imagining that we've endured that before? I could swear we've heard this before. Mia and Gordon's family therapy scenes are so farcical when he's simply a john who married his "stripper at a gentleman's club where they served steak and lobster who was actually richer than the john because she had an inheritance." Robyn and her franchise launch...super boring. Who cares? When she's saying she wants a stream of income that's not dependent on an employer...but fails to realize that she's going into a highly discretionary income based business that is dependant on a steady stream of customers... The Karen and Gizelle scene was nice.
  19. The last episode ended the show oddly, unevenly, without wrapping up a story thread or two while relying on fantasy imaginings of what Answered Prayers said, with plenty of hallucinations from various Swans. The last scene, where some of Truman's ashes being auctioned as part of the estate sale of Joanne Carson - did happen in reality...it's just a shame the writers left out the best part...that Joanne had told Truman's former partner that he'd received all of Truman's cremains when, in fact, she'd kept some for herself. Once he found out, he never spoke to her again. The John O'Shea part of the story was never resolved. Does anyone know what happened to him in real life? I don't think the writers did the Swans justice in telling any of their epilogues after Truman's death. Overall, it was like much of Ryan Murphy's work: great premise, superb casting, impressive sets, costumes, and makeup, plenty of witty lines, some great performances...but an overall mess of a show that seems to forget what direction it's headed by the halfway point.
  20. Yes - Joan had been alluding to a 'top secret project' and been shopping in Los Angeles, ahead of the Oscars, for her characters costumes and posting some stories on her IG. I so admire that Joan is game for an indie flick - she's done a few in the last decade and they've often proved her best parts. I hope that this sells to a streamer like Netflix or network like Lifetime.
  21. I just watched an episode to see how Deidre is looking and how her face is moving. For years she's been wearing turtlenecks constantly and my opinion is what we're seeing onscreen now is the result of a very conservative lower face lift. The slightest of tucks, just to enhance her jawline. As well, my additional opinion is she may have had a tiny bit of upper eyelid work to make her eyes look more relaxed and open. This result can also sometimes be achieved with Botox injections. Y&R's Melody Thomas Scott had a lower facelift done a year or two ago and went on Entertainment Tonight to show off the great result. It's a very effective procedure and doesn't radically change how someone looks, it just cleans up the jaw line and puts things back where they used to be.
  22. He'd be a great casting choice. Shemar Moore's CBS show, SWAT, is airing its final season...I doubt he'd want a full time daytime return, but given it's CBS, perhaps he'd agree to help launch the show with a return of Malcolm Winters on Y&R, taking the character to The Gates for a 3 month arc.
  23. I agree with you both - the third episode was weird and deeply unsatisfying. Kathy's purpose was undefined and while I didn't mind seeing her thrill at Mauricio exiting stage left from her family, I still do not buy that she and Kyle are solid. They will always have issues. I also didn't like the way Kathy behaved with Erika about Sutton. It shows that these women are simply coworkers who clock in when needed.
  24. If they could lure Renee Jones out of retirement...she lives in Georgia...that would be wonderful.
  25. The Karen and Gizelle scene was the only good part of the episode and showed that Gizelle can stay in this cast but she has to be this version of herself, be cool with Karen, and dump Robyn.
